This website and card games go perfectly hand-in-hand. Way back when, we were simply called Out of Cards and catered towards being a website about card games until we gradually phased into a more general news website. Hearthstone is the most popular realm that we cover on this website, and it's the game that initially kicked off the long journey all the way back on March 11 2019. We weren't even called Out of Cards yet. We were just HearthStation.
The point being that card games mean a lot to all of us, and if you've been a member of this website for a while, the chances are that it means something to you as well. Steam has launched what seems to be the most appropriate Fest for us, the Deckbuilder Fest.
Until the 11th of May, you have a chance to buy deckbuilding games on Steam for a highly discounted price. If you've been meaning to expand your card game library besides Hearthstone, now looks like a good chance to do so. Even though it's not discounted (because it's free anyway), you can get Magic the Gathering: Arena on Steam if you're not yet aware of that.
But not all deckbuilding games are simply a take on a CCG formula ala Hearthstone or Magic. Indeed, some of them take the concept and twist it in all sorts of ways... Kinda like Hearthstone did with Twist before they ended up not supporting it. On the Fest though, the only problem you have to face is the limited time window. You've only got one week to find the best cards, so act quickly!
