  • Strong in DH, and really strong in Wild Even decks.  More card draw for DH makes me sad, but at least its neutral so other classes can experiment.  Also F in the chat for River Crocolisk.

  • This would put a tear in old Genn Greymane's eye.

too bad only Demon Hunter will use it in standard

  • Quest Shaman comes into my mind

  • Solid card.. if you are a midrange deck you will highly consider this card if you are a combo deck with no minion restriction you just put this card it's better than Acolyte of Pain + ping of mage

    Tour Guide sinergy.

  • It's pretty good, but very reliant on the hero power being used efficiently.

I think that this can safely be run in a broad variety of slower decks, but decks that want to thin their deck more quickly will probably find the demand of using the hero power too tricky to fit in on early turns.

  • Hunter will enjoy this more than most classes.  Beast and miniquest synergy.

  • Synergy with Genn in wild. It also works really well with Demon Hunter obviously. I think this will be played in decks like Control Warlock or Control Priest which are really slow and generally just "press the button" for the first few turns. This lets them have some form of early game presence and draw cards. Probably not, but maybe.

  • A pretty good Neutral Common, especially in Demon Hunter with their 1 mana Hero Power. Even decks in Wild could use it pretty well too. I reckon we'll see quite a bit of it, especially in DH in Standard.

Also, River Crocolisk is crying in the corner again.

  • Too slow? would rather prefer to draw the next card instead of this.

  • I love the card, the theme, but I still think its too niche. Maybe face hunter or beast hunter can use this, but drawing a card for 4 mana isn't really what I call efficient.

Had this been a straight up inspire card then yes, its just strong enough to be a good niche. But its effect only works once, so it can't even be a soft taunt. Just not good enough, which makes me sad.

  • Ok card i guess - not sure if this will be used ... could work because it is a beast but im not sure.

  • A beast that draw, require 4 mana (or 3 for DH), vanilla stats, some beast or aggro deck could make use of this.

  • Amazing DH card, and good in classes with bad card draw. Will see plenty of play.

In wild: I'm afraid of this card. This will see play in nearly every EVEN deck thanks to Genn Greymanes hero power cost reduction.

    • Yes indeed! I feel like this is just okay otherwise, but with Tour Guide it's quite nice.

  • Nice cycle, I guess. Especially with cheap or free hero power.

Protip: You also have that Tour Guide that makes your hero power cost 0 as t1 play followed by this minion.

  • Super strong in dh! We are going to see a lot in Tempo Dh

  • Nice card for aggro decks, specially DH/H and in arena

  • Won't see play outside arena IMHO.

  • Powerfull card

  • Only really good with Tour Guide or in DH.

Tour Guide is auto-include in odd decks, this is auto-include in even decks.
Reminder that DH's hero power is slightly limiting design space, any neutral "inspire" like card is by default more powerful in DH.

  • It's card draw in a not too weak body given the cost. I think this will see some use.

  • Nice simple draw card

  • Very good in DH or Even decks in wild, not much outside thereof.

  • Even decks love him; odd decks wish they could have him; and Demon Hunter is going to abuse him.

I think this is a strong card, but I don't know that it will see play in standard outside of aggro beast decks.

Aggro even decks will love this card to death, and I look forward to trying him out.

  • I think Tour Guide is a very good tempo card (you never lose tempo by playing it unless you save your hero power for a later turn) and this has direct synergy with it. Will that make it good in something that isn't Demon Hunter? Probably not, because you'll still be using two cards to draw one and that's just really inefficient.

  • It is good, but I do think it is a bit slow for Rexxar, as to benefit you'd have to play this on T4 - 3 if you coin - but at the same time, Hunter always struggled with card draw, so this could be a remedy. But overall, decent cost, stat and effect with a beast tag already slapped on, I'm confident this will find its niche.

  • Nice Demon Hunter Card.

  • A few decks can get a bit of value out of this. I reckon it will see some fringe play.

  • This is like the 4 Mana 2/4 “Battlecry: Draw a card” except that it has 1 less health, can be played as a 2/3, and comes with a “free” hero power. Given that the 2/4 saw some play in a few decks, this has potential.

  • For stats minions that have more health are generally looked upon favorably.

The River Crocolisk sets the gold standard for 2 mana minions since basic, and this minion follows in it's footsteps, but the battle cry could make it a little slow.

most hero powers require your hero to spend 2 mana to use them, Demon Hunters at 1. Meaning that unless you play the Tour Guide on turn 1, you won't be able to use your hero power and play this on turn 2 to draw two additional cards.

HOWEVER - if you're playing an aggressive deck such as face Hunter, Zoo Lock, Tempo Demon Hunter and Aggro mage, that doesn't really matter, since they'll have other two mana options to play. And if they don't a 2/3 isn't terrible, since those decks have TONS of draw.

It's synergy with hero powers means it can also fit in decks that want to use their quests or sidequests - Face Hunter's Toxic Reinforcements needs the hero power to be used 3 times, and Priests Quest Activate the Obelisk requires them to use their hero power before AND after to active the quest and reap the rewards.

I think it's stats make it a safe choice in Arena, if you don't have a better statted minion available to play

  • It’s alright, though most classes would probably prefer to just play something bigger on 4 if they’re going the midrange route, and if you’re not playing aggressively, then just play Loot Hoarderinstead.

  • 4 mana 2/3 draw a card is weak... maybe except DH

  • I wonder if this has a place in Even Hunter, compared to that other Jeeves like minion.

  • Good draw engine attached to a body.

    Love the flavor text references.

  • Feels like a "filler slot".

  • It's these little unassuming cards one has to look out for.

  • This Demon Hunter card is missing it's dark green card frame.

  • Should be autoinclude in any shaman quest.

  • Good card for classes that need that extra draw, and draw is always required for combo decks

  • I think this card presents a couple of limitations towards its usefulness. First, you typically want to draw first in a turn to help expand your options for the turn, but you have to HP first. Second, trying to fit in a HP in the early game when the stats of Manafeeder Panthara matter more is trickier since you want to play more on curve. For those reasons, I can only see this in a combo deck that's desperate for draw in standard.

  • Only useful in Demon Hunter. If you need draw just run Novice Engineer over this card, 2 mana less for the same effect. Hell, Gnomish Inventor might even be better bcs the draw is non-conditional and you get slightly better stats for what that’s worth

    • I've always loved beast synergy, so I'm looking forward to experimenting with this in hunter.

  • Great card, specially for Demon Hunter since it's so easy to trigger its Battlecry effect.

  • Immediate inclusion in every Even deck? Demon Hunter exclusive for Standard? Poor River Crocolisk.
