Not good enough in today's day
Like the other card in the basic set but better
NOt bad to summon and 2 damage punch to a minion and leave behind a decent minion
this reminds me of the classic 3 mana deal 2 damage 2/1 minion cards. Spring Rocket, Disciple of C'Thun, Argent Horserider etc. obviously better with +1/+1 stats, but still I doubt that this will see play. since the game has become a synergy game only.

Quite a while ago, a 3 mana 3/2 that dealt 2 damage was really good. Nowadays though, I'm not so sure.
If Knife Juggler was in Core Set, this could've been in Zoo decks.
Could be pretty fun for Token decks, and honestly it isn't that bad for a regular aggressive deck. Good number of stats, and a little bit of Rush. I don't think it's going to set the world on fire but it might actually make it into some decks. (Evolve Shaman isn't still a thing, right? Gosh I hope not)
Love the name, but doubt this sees play.
Bug Collector, but a little bigger. That card has seen little play, so I don't know about this one.

Cute little hog. Instant 5 stars. This is going to break the meta. Your opponent either concedes out of pity, or loses one turn from laughing. Either way, you still get to view that cute little hog for all its worth.

Can just see wanting to drop a 3/2 body and clear their 2-health taunt. Then attack with last round's 2-drop.

Decent utility card. An understatted body with an extra attach token ping.
Just ok. Decent if discovered. Fine in arena maybe? Not great.
I'd say this is a decent card from a value perspective. Unfortunately, since the initial minion doesn't have rush (just the token) I worry that it will be too slow, since it gives your opponent the opportunity to trade into it and then take out the hog before you can make use of its rush.

If the Hog didn't have rush this would be about as common as Dragonling Mechanic. Still not amazing, but the token is a Beast, so maybe with Scavenging Hyena?

3 mana 3/2 deal 2 (with mild restrictions) is alright, but probably not going to see too much play. Zoo and Aggressive decks have much better options.

This kind of looks promising when compared to similar cards like Hench-Clan Hogsteed that saw fringe play, but ultimately I don't think Hog Rancher has enough inherent synergy for any strategy to warrant an inclusion in a competitive deck.
