  • "If you played an Elemental last turn" never really took off in Un'Goro, and I don't think this fares any better. Decent effect if you manage that though.

  • Pretty good in Elemental decks, but I think people are really underestimating how good it is to have a sturdy Windfury minion out that can potentially hit face with Rockbiter.

If you can build an Elemental deck that fights for the board efficiently then this can be a huge threat

  • Beautiful to look at.nice colors!

  • I am very pleased to see elemental shaman returning

  • good in an elemental deck, if the archetype is successful

  • This can come down as early as turn 2 with the new elemental that discounts. It's a solid elemental for countering aggro decks imo.

  • This is insanely good against aggro, if you can just activate it.

  • If elemental Shaman has enough good elementals, this gets better...

  • Very good elemental, seems strong and you can buff it up with Whack-A-Gnoll Hammer for big damage, and you can cheat it out on turn 2 with Kindling Elemental. Seems like a very strong elemental shaman card, and probably will see play in control shaman.

  • Elemental chains are so hard to maintain...

  • Decent card with good health stats could work in an elemental mage deck

Decent card with good health stats could work in an elemental mage deck

      Its only a shaman card

  • Im hyped for elemental shaman!

  • Even with the restrictions, a 3 mana 2/5 rush windfury is nothing to scoff at

  • I'm liking this.  The synergy with the class' ability to pump out elementals should be good

  • Loving the art on this, a stronger crabrider in an elemental based deck.

  • I like it, and think it might be good enough to make elemental shaman a thing.

  • Bonkers with the 1 drop that makes your next elemental cheaper

  • Wow, this is great, now I wonder if Murloc or Elemental shaman will be better.

  • Amazing card. Really interested where it will shine (in other game modes maybe)

  • I like this card.

  • card seems very good, but the whole "play an elemental last turn" thing is so wack...

  • This is very strong in aggro.

  • Not bad, getting to deal 2 damage to 2 chosen targets for 3 mana isn't bad, especially when it leaves a minion behind. I just really want elemental shaman to be good.

  • Elementary time

  • good caerd

  • this looks like a new staple card for every deck

  • Interesting card, but elementals need more synergy to be part of a competitive deck

  • Elemental shaman is going to be a good archetype!

Probably best as a +1/+1 Crabrider for a Windfury threat, but then why not run Crabrider instead? Unless of course you run both like in the stream video. Windfury Shaman???

  • alakir jr

  • The payoff is great, but are there enough elementals? Do we really have to combine elementals with murlocs lol

  • Will make a disaster if more elemental support comes

  • It's alright

  • Nice

  • seems like a setup for mini-set for elemental shaman.

  • Pretty decent card, but won't be enough to enable Elemental decks on its own. Will see play in them if other cards make them good enough though.

  • Very nice reactive play to get the board early in the game. Let's not forget there is the new Kindling Elemental that allows this guy to get on board by turn 2

  • The question is if we will have a critical mass of decent elementals

  • Great card 5/5 for elemental shaman .

  • Extremely good Elemental card, but I don't think there are enough Elementals (particularly in Shaman) to make this work as of right now.

  • elemental mage didnt work, no sure elementl shamman will work either, maybe, its a good card

  • Fast way to kill murlocs

  • Good tempo play for Elemental decks, great for fighting back early and taking control of the board. I hope that Elemental Shaman gets some love this expansion, because I really want this boy to see play.

  • That's kinda bulky for its cost, and the effect seems easy enough to trigger.
This has lots of potential to shape up the meta, at least as far as shaman's concerned

  • This is a dangerous one to leave alive, elemental deck or not.

  • Elemental shaman: I'm overloaded (ha!) on archetypes.

  • Solid stats. Cool effect, and Elemental tag. This will in some way or another get into BGs.

  • Elemental decks have made it to tier 2 before, and the new environment promises to be a lot more midrange-friendly than previous attempts. I think it has a chance. Also, I think the new Elementals are a significantly more cohesive package than previous attempts.

  • Good card to start. Needs a way to buff consistently and then it becomes a major threat.

  • The fact that you can curve this out after Kindling Elemental means this will definitely see play. (It's also still very solid after Cagematch Custodian or Menacing Nimbus.)

  • I'm stuck thinking of how good it is on curve and, yeah, it's pretty darn good on curve (if you proc the effect, of course). I'm still wary on Elementals but cards like this that give them something powerful to do when they're played are needed.

  • Shaman meta incoming.

  • Not sure if elemental Shaman will be a thing, but this card is pretty good, especially with the new Kindling Elemental.

  • idt elemental decks will take off this expansion - and doubt a 3 mana 2/5 windfury is sufficienctly unfair to power this

  • Initially, I didn't think Elemental Shaman would make it, but looking at this list I'm actually quite hopeful. Arid Stormer will no doubt be in a refined version.

  • wow nice stats and great battlecry!!!

  • OK effect, but have small attack

  • Very good one

    • Extremely powerful

That card looks strong... And show us how strong is Crabrider, having -1-1 for 1 mana less but without conditional keyword.

  • Its an elemental which has a very nasty effect, in that it can clear away early boards and still be around and your opponent can never ignore it.

Will see play as long as the elemental train can be kept going. Otherwise, its just a 2/5 which is honestly bad.

  • I think this one is pretty Bonkers! With the new 1 Mana Elemental that makes your next one cheaper this curves perfectly into it.

    Very strong.

  • Is Elemental Shaman going to be viable?

  • Now that's strong. You can even win back tempo you might have lost by having to play an elemental the turn before.

  • Absolutely great for elemental decks! Not sure about the archetype as a whole.

  • Turn 1 Kindling Elemental into turn 2 Arid Stormer into turn 3 Whack-A-Gnoll Hammer is a really powerful tempo heavy early game plan that can snowball into a win very hard. But elementals are, by design, slower midrange somewhat value oriented decks. Sure tempo is nice early, but without the big end game beatsticks, their gameplay falls flat as they don't have a lot of direct damage burst.

  • awesome elemental

  • Love me some of that elemental synergy

  • Even if it has good stats, i dont like it. The bonus effect is not doing a lot. If there is nothing to trade its useless. A lifesteal or taunt would have been better in my opinion. The elemental set for chaman is weak, murloc clearly get a better attention.

  • I don't see Elemental Shaman coming together this Exp, but I could see this become a standard in such a deck after enough support gets printed.

  • Solid card. 5 health means it could survive 2 trades with the windfury and still hang around. Definitely a threat if not taken care of.

  • This alone seem to make it worth to run some elementals. This card can highroll crazily this on turn 2 can win you the game.

  • good

  • This might be the expansion with the most support for elemental shaman.

  • Very good in Elemental decks. I don't think there are the posibility to play an Elemental deck in standard, but with next expension this theme can be super relevant

  • Wind fury shaman ftw

  • Pretty good in elemental deck, not hard to trigger it.

  • Shaman seems to have all the ingredients for a decent elemental deck, and this seems like a great way to keep up the tempo in that deck. Imagine this dropping on turn 2 after Kindling Elemental!

  • Since Kindling Elemental is a card, this will be absolutely insane

  • Decent card, but i can imagine that we will see some elemental shaman right now

  • Not a whole lot of 2-mana Elemental minions. I'm not sure if you'd throw in a weapon and Cagematch Custodian, or Imprisoned Phoenix and try to take advantage of spell damage.

    • Curves out really well with that new Neutral 1-mana Elemental.

  • Good to see more Elemental Shaman support.

  • It's a good card and i think pretty viable, will be played

  • I don't know how I feel about the conditional effects requiring you to play a tribe the previous turn. We saw in the final reveal with the half murloc half elemental deck that it can draw poorly.

  • 3 for a 2/5 ain't bad, and the battlecry is a nice bonus

  • Very good and a potential target for buff spells.

  • good card

  • Turn 2 2/5 rush windfury , very strong

  • I think with what we've gotten this expac, this can be a VERY solid early play that you can trigger quite often.

  • The potential is there, but the Elemental condition has proven to be way too much of a handicap in the past. If it finds a way to be consistently activated this is an insane card.

  • I love elemental shaman and I really hope this will see play. Seems good enough

That half-and-half deck was just a dumb idea. Full Elemental decks can be extremely consistent.

  • With no legendary elemental support, elementals are never going to be viable

  • shaman seems strong from this card alone

  • Elemental shaman getting some more support?  Yes please!  I really like this card for it's ability to control the board in the early game, and potentially do quite a bit of damage if it survives a turn.

  • 3 mana 2/5 Rush and Windfury? Good!

  • we definitely need more elementals for it to be consistent

  • Good elemental deck card.

  • Huh, does Shaman have much in the way of Elemental synergy right now in Standard? I honestly can't remember. Strong if you can pull off the condition, but feels a bit out of left field.

Pretty small body. Effect is okay. Just an okay card.

  • Curving Kindling Elemental into this into Whack-A-Gnoll Hammer will be an almost unbeatable curve. There's also just a lot of quality two-drop elementals to curve into this with Cagematch Custodian and Menacing Nimbus. There's already a sort of fringe Windfury Shaman with Fantastic Firebird and Mistrunner, and I could see this pushing it to be the main Shaman deck this expansion.
