Gaining corpses with unholy DK is easy and this attack buff is a great finisher. This is kinda like a Bloodlust, so i think this will make a aggro SMOrc unholy DK viable. The only downside i can see is that you cant run a frost rune for more draw, but i feel like no-rune DK cards like Acolyte of Death will suffice.
There'S our Savage Roar. I guess Swarm DH is just going to be a thing.
Keep in mind that this is just straight up a better Bloodlust as long as you can activate it and Bloodlust was very much playable for quite a while.
The Acolyte has a Frost Rune :P Perhaps you were thinking of Chillfallen Baron?
Well least this crazy finisher has the 3 unholy rune restriction. This will definitely see play considering corpse generation isn't difficult this archetype. Unholy dk is looking quite aggro and op
This is just the kind of card that pisses me off. Because its so obviously broken and power creeping over established cards you'd think the devs were all on coke and make suggestions via dart boards.
To top it up, the effect is lasting, so unlike Bloodlust you can just play this on a few minions and run with it. In many ways it reminds me of Conviction (Rank 1) pre nerfed, except that card belongs to the slowest class in the game. Is there really anything DK can't do? At this point the class might as well be the better paladin class.
So, is there any weakness at all to this card? Yes. Unholy DK is currently* looking like its going to lack draw and the corpse requirement means unless your minions die (something of which most aggro decks dont want to happen) you're unlikely to actually win on turn 4-5. But this is essentially playing against aggro druid with savage roar again - youre needing to clear over and over before they eventually get you anyway.
Whoops, i'm gonna be honest: I forgot about the frost rune. But yeah cards like Chillfallen Baron was what i tried reffering to. Thank you for pointing out my mistake!
