Wow. By far the worst letdown in a while... I was so looking forward to these skins and then this. I have hunter at 820 wins but using this new portrait would be almost embarrassing. My second best class is mage with 800, but I bought the Medivh skin three years ago which is just straight out better. Also: Jainas cleavage now is so flat, it looks in wrong proportion to her shoulders. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t care about sexyness in a card game, but this is neither consistent with the standard portrait nor with the mentioned proportions. Her shoulders seem to be a lot wider than the rest of her upper body half. No new voice lines? That’s just lazy
Blizzard should have known that these portraits are of paramount importance for long time players and still fucked up. I’m back to farming golden portraits.

Rexxar seems terrible, absolutly the worst of all nine. Valeera as a pirate is pretty wtf (is it an Halloween costume?), Garrosh also looks not fitting in his corrupted version as a goal potrait instead of a more badass looking one.
All the others are fine, but those three... I just cannot like them at all.

Warlock has Nemsy. I'm very fond of her and she is still easy to get.
I am also very much disappointed in the use of the old voicelines which is definitely just lazy. Anduin is boring af with or without the 1000 wins.
Yeah, but I was talking about myself. I don't have Nemsy, so the 1000-win portrait was a warm welcome. I definitely agree with you about the old voicelines part, I was also quite disappointed hearing the same old stuff all over again, but I don't expect to see any changes in this regard. I think that the community may encourage Blizzard to change Rexxar's portrait. I have a strong feeling, that the latter thing will happen in the nearest future.
As a warlock player with no alternative skins, I am exceptionally grateful to see my class getting one of the most badass 1000-win portraits. Imho almost all of them look sick (Garrosh is my other favourite, but warrior is one of my least played classes) with the exception of Rexxar.
I agree with you on the warlock being the nicest and the Derpxxar exception part as well, but beg to differs on Warrior ... It seems - thematically at least - to be very off ; Any old artwork with Garrosh looking all armored-up and ready to fight would have been better. Still, not as awful as poor mentally challenged Rexx. They should have added drooling at this point
Well, it's a reference to that one time, when we had to fight Garrosh back in MoP. He wielded Xal'atoh and absorbed partial power from the Heart of Y'Shaarj.

Oh please let that happen. Have you any information about other forums or pages and the reactions of the playerbase there? Or any other base for your feeling? I would be really surprised if they changed the portrait, but they were more responsive for some time now. Still, this is a lot to ask. *fingers crossed*

Warlock is the only class where I am over 1k wins currently, so I am very happy with bad - ass - Guldan. On the other hand I hate playing with and against hunter(I think I have less than 200 wins with huntard) so I am very happy to see the reward for smorcing successfully for more than a 1000 times is a dumber looking rexxar.
The other portraits are ok i guess, valeera looks a bit like she is attending a Halloween party, which usually looks dumb 11 out of 12 months but meh, guess it fits with her playstyle, especially in wild.
A bit disappointed in Garrosh, too, as his golden portrait is one of the coolest imo (fire!) but this corrupted version doesnt really do it for me. At first I didn't even recognize him (yeah I have no clue of wow) but I guess if this version is interesting for some wow-fans it is alright.
All in all cool addition for long - time - players, although new voices-lines would have made it even better.

Well, I don't have a basis to prove my words, as this is just a speculation, but I think it may come true. I remember people getting confused over Omega Defender's previous artwork and Blizzard gave us the art of the female goblin we now have. So if people make a big deal out of Rexxar's 1000-win portrait, I believe the devs will feel forced to do some improvements.
Warlock and Warrior are best for me. Sadly only class that I have over 500 wins (and still long road to 1000) is mage. All classes beside Mage I have around 300-400 wins. I will have to wait for this portraits.
Just want to give my two cents to show that every opinion is subjective. I think that Gul'dan is underwhelming, it's just a green blur! I know that Fel is green, but this is ridiculous, they could've gone with Shadow or Fire theme.
Rexxar is derpy, Valeera is silly (they should've given her normal weapons, they don't fit).
What's with Jaina's right hand? I' m probably not completely up to date with lore.
I think that new Uther is better than the old one; I know that radiant eyes are a sign of holy light infusion, but he looks so much better with normal eyes and the contrast caused by black really makes him stand out.
Thrall is very nice, Garrosh is good. Malfurion is nice, but bit boring. Anduin changed for better, but the overbite is strange. My highest win class is shaman with four hundred wins, so it's gonna be a long way for me.
The thing that really irks me about the Rexxar one isn't just the artwork itself, but the concept. It's literally just the same character from a different angle. You could've replaced the bow with an axe - the weapon he actually uses. It was right there.
Oh well. That Garrosh one is worth it at least.

But meh, probably for most of the blizzard fanbois the new portrait doesn't have to be nice on its own. It's just for showing off purposes I suppose.
Garrosh, Uther, and Jaina are all awesome, not really motivated to grind too much for the other ones.
Gosh dang it, cards bad.
Hunter is the only class I have over 2k wins with and this portrait is pretty lame man:/
On the other hand Thrall and Malfurion are fucken epic!

I realy like them - they look awesome (maybe Rexxar could be a bit better) but i can't wait to equip some of them :)

Also, I'm a big fan of the purple color in hs.

Valeera one is so unlore-friendly but I like it and the Garrosh one the most.

I'm the only one who stops to see if he's dead.
Hmm. Turns out he's dead.
Nobody gonna talk about Malfurion looking like a squashed potato? No? Okay
This ain't no place for a hero
mine are all showing on decks in the que screen and collection manager, but missing in games. They were working earlier today.
1000 wins lazy portraits, they didn't even bother changing the voice lines at all, and some of them look terrible/uninspiring.
Also there are no animations to them or anything seems like they give no respect to their veteran play base..
Well they don't seem to work anymore. They show up on decks and collection manager but not in actual games.
I'll boop you
Does anyone know when the full arts will be released?
