Good news for PS Plus subscribers above the Essentials tier. The service is adding 15 games for players to enjoy, including a day-one release and a lot of Assassin’s Creed. If you want to know how the game stacks up to Microsoft’s Game Pass, you can check out our dedicated guide.
All the games presented here will be available to play on July 19th. Some games have a specified platform next to the title; that’s what it was originally released on and is only available for Premium subscribers. Without further ado, let’s see what’s to come!
Do you like cats? Do you like post-apocalyptic cyberpunk? Then Stray is the game for you! You play as a stray cat wondering a neon-filled decrepit city populated by robots. You must make your way through the city to… uh… do whatever a stray cat wants to do.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade
Intergrade is the version of Final Fantasy VII’s remake that’s optimized for PS5. It contains the base game and INTERmission, as well as improved visuals and specific support for the Dualsense controller. PS4 owners will have to make do with the base version of the remake.
Square Enix’s third-person action-adventure that lets you play as various Marvel heroes in a variety of missions. This version of the game is the only one where you can play as Spider-Man, which is great, because it lets you appreciate Insomniac’s Spider-Man more. Also on PS Plus.
A big chunk of the Assassin’s Creed series is being added. The games added are Unity, IV Black Flag, Rogue Remastered, Freedom Cry, and The Ezio Collection, which includes II, Brotherhood and Revelations, with Valhalla already on the service.
That’s about half the AC franchise, but it’s still missing a bunch of them. Most notably, the original game, Origins, Odyssey, and the three Chronicles titles.
Saints Row IV: Re-Elected + Gat Out of Hell
Create a fully customizable character and play as the Boss of The Saints as you fight an alien invasion in this GTA meets Prototype sandbox. The Gat Out of Hell standalone game let’s you explore (and blow up) literal hell while on a mission to save your Boss’ soul.
Dungeon crawler where you and a group of friends make your way through a randomly generated dungeon. You’ll need to be fast, though, as there’s another team racing through the exact same dungeon, and you must get to the end before them.
Jumanji, Ice Age, and Paw Patrol
Rounding things up for the Extra tier with three licensed games coming to the service:
- Jumanji: The Video Game, a third person 4-player co-op action-adventure game to tie in with the 2019 Wecome to the Jungle Movie.
- Ice Age: Scrat’s Nutty Adventure, a 3D platformer where you play as Scrat. Set in the Ice Age universe, though not tied to any particular movie.
- Paw Patrol: On a Roll!, mission based game where you control up to 8 characters in order to complete various objectives.
No Heroes Allowed! (PSP)
The third game in the Yūsha no Kuse ni Namaiki, the first two games being localized as What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? and What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2. The game is similar to Dungeon Keeper, but the perspective is directly overhead, instead of at an angle.
LocoRoco Midnight Carnival (PSP)
A game where you must get the titular LocoRocos to the end of the stage. The only things you can do is tilt the level at an angle and make the Rocos jump. The Rocos grow in size, and there are 6 types in total, with you being scored on the amount you bring to the end of the level.
