The July 14 balance patch which brought us several card balance changes has almost been out for two weeks which means the dust refunds are going away soon! On July 28, the following cards will no longer be eligible for a full refund of arcane dust.
- Dragonqueen Alexstrasza
- Corsair Cache
- Metamorphosis
- Kayn Sunfury
- Warglaives of Azzinoth
- Dragoncaster
- Fungal Fortunes
- Galakrond, the Nightmare (Golden)
If you aren't planning on using any of these cards anytime soon, it is my recommendation that you disenchant them. Hold onto the dust in case you want to craft them in the near future, which is especially important considering a new expansion is on its way in August! You can either use your dust to craft overpowered cards in the new set or any of these that still remain useful in the new meta.

This says full dust is available until the 28th. I went to dust today on the 27th and they are not offering full dust only regular dust on these cards. Glitch or mistake?

Usually I don't really dust nerfed cards, but since I had a golden Metamorphosis and a Dragoncaster, it made sense this time.
After no duplicate rule for every rarity, i stopped disenchanting nerfed cards because we can't open new copies from packs and my economy style in this game isn't like hoarding all of my gold and only open packs on first month of the expansion. I'm openning packs even in last month of the expansion and sometimes even when it is in wild.
So, people who wants to disenchant them keep that in mind that you can't open new copies from packs until you complete that rarity. Especially for epics and rares. You will get new copies after you complete all of other epics and rares.
Also, in wild, there is always a way to make nerfed cards work and also there is always a posibility to be reverted back when it goes wild. if you are new to game and planning to play wild in future, reconsider your dusting decisions.
I can give my Dr. Boom, Mad Genius example here. Even I enjoy to play with him, I disenchanted him when it got nerfed. I still couldn't get it from packs and I missed to play with it but don't want to spend my dust for it for now and they even reverted its nerf back.
Some of the cards are not just for success, some of them really fun to play. So, think twice while you are disenchanting.
Usually with nerfs, I am 70/30 to DE for the dust. This time around, the nerfs were all pretty fair and didn't hinder the cards too much, so I think I'll keep mine for now.
For anyone wondering, you can safely dust Metamorphosis, it is an absolute garbage now. Keep Kayn Sunfury tho, his effect is still useful.

I dusted Alex for now, but I'm kind of already missing her. Got lucky today with a golden Corsair Cache from a pack from an Arena run.
What do you think, do I need two copies of Warglaives and Dragoncaster? I feel like one of those would be enough for most deck so I could dust the second copies...
I think the warglaives are a pretty safe disenchant as according to VS, tempo DH is better without the glaives. I'd hold onto a Dragoncaster though simply because if you ignore Highlander hunt being everywhere, Highlander Mage has still been doing fairly well in the grand scheme of things and Dragoncaster is still a very strong part of the deck.
The worst-case scenario is that you disenchant them now and just recraft them again later anyway.
if I specially craft a golden card now, will I get to keep the dust if I disenchanted it later And still get to keep the card similar to treatment for Hall of Fame cards? Reason because I play only wild and I like to collect golden cards.No. You don’t get to keep the card if you want full dust refund.

Already DE my golden Kayn and recrafted him regular. He was pretty, but the free dust just cannot be passed.
Thanks for the reminder! I had a golden Dragonqueen as my guaranteed golden from the pre-purchase last season and have been so bored with highlander decks that I deleted all of those deck archetypes! 3200 dust isn't bad and, if needed, I can craft it for 1600 later and pocket the difference!

It's always 2 weeks after the nerfs go live. There is no reason to think there's a conspiracy about them timing it purely to deny a bit of dust a few players.
I dusted Alex and Kayn. I don't remember if i did disenchant the Warglaives but i'm going to if i didn't. I don't play DH anyway.
