3D Platformer Trifox Confirms Launch Date With New Trailer

3D Platformer Trifox confirms its launch date with a new trailer! The game will release on the 13th of October for Nintendo Switch, with Steam, Epic Games, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S launching the next day. The game is also planned for PlayStation 4 & 5, but there is no release date for those platforms just yet!

A Nostalgic, Furry Adventure

If you’ve played through the Crash Bandicoots and Ratchet & Clanks of old, we’re pretty sure you won’t want to miss out on Trifox. Just from the 90-second trailer it’s clear the game is a love letter to the awesome 3D platformers of the 2000s, and there’s definitely space in the genre for more games like it.

The premise of the game is simple: Your TV remote has been stolen, and you must retrieve it! Here’s a brief overview of what you can expect from Trifox:

Choose from three different classes: Warrior, Mage or Engineer.
Each class has its own unique abilities which can be mixed-and-matched to develop your own playstyle.
Example: Combining spellcasting with a Gatling Gun. Not sure what’ll come out the other end, but what’s important is it can be done!
Over 30 abilities to unlock, with names such as Spike Slam, Shield Bubble and Guided Missile.
Four worlds to beat, which sounds like quite a bit of content.
Platforming pitfalls, environmental puzzles, boss fights, it’s all in there!
