Ten New Games Coming to Game Pass in the First Wave of October, A Plague Tale: Requiem and Chivalry 2 Coming to the Service

October started a few days ago, and you know what that means: Halloween is coming soon! Also, new games added to Game Pass, 10 of them to be precise. As usual, you can see our dedicated Game Pass vs PS Plus article to see how the 2 stack up. Let’s get into it!

Do you remember Doom? No, not the 2016 game, the original. Prodeus is basically that, but with modern tech and design built into it. Kill hordes of enemies to rack up a high score, or make your own levels in their editor.

Available now for Console and Cloud.

Chivalry II

Pick up your sword and shield and fight against other players in this multiplayer first-person slasher set in the medieval period. You’ll take part in large-scale skirmishes in an effort to take the enemy army down.

Avalilable now on PC, Console, and Cloud.

Medieval Dynasty

A survival RPG set in medieval times. Build your own community and help them survive by hunting animals and defending you borders.

Available now on PC and coming to Xbox Series S|X on October 6th.

The Walking Dead Seasons 1 and 2

The Point and Click adventure that put Telltale Games on the map back in the day. Survive a zombie-infected world, make choices the characters will remember later, and explore the world of The Walking Dead before it got run into the ground by the TV show.

Available on PC on October 6th.

Costume Quest

From Double Fine Productions and the mind of Tim Schafer, the creator of Grim Fandango, Psychonauts, and Brutal Legend, comes an RPG fit for the season. Explore the world as kids in costumes out to trick-or-treat, and transform into the real deal during combat.

Coming to Console and Cloud on October 11th.

A social deduction game set in a fantasy town. You play as either a Conspirator, who must kill all the villagers during nighttime, or a Citizen, who must find all the Conspirators and send them to justice. Your role is randomly assigned and you don’t know who you can trust.

Available on Console and PC on October 11th as a day one title.

Dyson Sphere Program

A space simulation strategy game where you must fill various planets with the most effective factories in the galaxy. Go from a tiny workshop on a backwater planet to the greatest interstellar industrial empire.

Available on PC on October 13th.

A first-person horror game set in an unsettling world that would make H. R. Giger proud. Best to go into this one blind… if you dare!

Available on PC, Xbox Series S|X, and Cloud on October 14th as a day one title.

A Plague Tale: Requiem

The sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence (which sadly was pulled from the service last month), Requiem sees the player traveling a gorgeous but brutal world while struggling to survive, using a variety of weapons, tools, and unearthly powers. Also, rats. Lots of rats.

Available on PC, Xbox Series S|X, and Cloud on October 18th as a day one title.

DLC and Ultimate Perks

The Following DLC are or will be available:

  • Microsoft Flight Simulator: World Update XI: Canada – Fly over Canada in the latest update for Flight Simulator. Available Now.
  • The Elder Scrolls Online: Heroes of the High Isle – An in-game event that lets you earn rewards and unlock the Firesong DLC for free. Available until October 11th.

Ultimate subscribers have access to the following (all on October 11th):

  • Eville: Housewarming Bundle – Acora and Mr. Peterson cosmetics, including outfits and items.

  • Bloodroots (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Echo Generation (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Into The Pit (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Ring of Pain (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Sable (Cloud, Console, and PC)
