Seems pretty strong against other aggro decks the -1 attack if you got other fearsome units on the board, versus decks that have bigger minions the lvled up version maybe can do the work to get them to 2 attack if your able to generate and play alot of low cost minions stalking shadows may be able to help with that.
Nocturne seems like a pretty aggressive card but attacking 5 times with nightfall minions might be difficult.
Almost not worth playing pre-flip, but after, it's basically a flipped-Ashe threat level.
Thank the gods it's not "when you summon a unit," or Haunted Relic would be the end of everyone.
I'm not in love with the design, though. Requiring a critical mass of Nightfall units when there are so few to choose from will lead to a lot of very same-y deckbuilding.
Note that the text is "attacked with 5+ Nightfall allies", not activating Nightfall.
I'm not 100% confident I understand exactly nightfall works. If you watch the video from Riot's twitter, it shows little moon icons on units implying that all you need to do is attack with a unit that had the nightfall text, irregardless of whether you proc'ed nightfall when it was summoned or not. That said, there are some inconsistencies with that video--e.g., at 0:32 just before the level-up the Stygian Onlooker on the far right is just a 2/1, but at 0:42 post level-up its now a 4/1--so I'm not sure how representative it is of final product.
YAWN.
Boring effect and Nocturne dies to a lot of stuff.
worst community ever
Fearsome + attack debuff looks really strong.
Will be annoying for sure.

Did you say the same thing about Miss Fortune and Twisted Fate?
I will just state something not related to the card effect, Nocturne is NOT a shadow isles champion, it has no ties to the region, Nocturne, Evelynn,Fiddlesticks, tham kench are all demons they are essentially regionless
But Nocturne really fits shadow isles in the theme and mechanics (fearsome) and I doubt they would put him in demacia or something cause that's where he operates.. I had a disscussion before the taragon/bilgewater spoilers about where they would even put those regionless demons guess shadow isles.. since there are 7 shadow isles champions by lore anyway..
I am surprised by Lulu going into Ionia not cause Lulu can't be operating in Ionia it makes perfect sense.. but cause there are like 15 Ionian champions in league it's one of the bigger regions so using a none-native champion that early.. that being said they used both teemo and heimer really early too although both being from bandle city as well so they are kind of wild cards in terms of their placements.
I think a lot of champions that don't have a region are going to be slipped into ones that just fit thematically. Fiddlesticks for example will likely be a Shadow Isles character despite not being from there, and I am guessing that when Tristana shows up she will be Piltover. As for the Lulu thing, I believe it was more of a thematic thing, wanting champions to have interesting interactions together. For example Taric and Lulu fit well and that was something they were aiming for. They wanted someone who could match the support theme they were going into and not many of the current champions in Ionia are very fitting for a support focused build. Lillia is rather new and though I haven't played since before she was released I don't think she is a full on support, Ivern is a jungler and though he is rather support oriented he is sort of an enigma thematically.
Ivern isn't ionian, he is from ixtal I think like zyra, nidalee, rengar, qiyana.
I hope they won't make them ionian cause they are not really japan oriented or vastayan.
I wonder if they are gonna retcon nocturne into shadow isles or what they are gonna do when the go around updating him in league, he was on the list of champions that they were thinking of updating and put up a vote in the end fiddle and Voli won.
Very confident (still could be wrong) that Ixtal will get lumped into Shurima. Also I am pretty sure Ivern is Ionia because he became what he is after killing a special tree. He and his group were originally from Freljord I think? but then he invaded Ionia, cut down a tree and as the price for doing so he became a being that cared about nature more than anything.
That or he became the tree he destroyed? I don't fully recall what the meaning behind the transformation was specifically.
I will further note that Nocturne is a genderless entity, so if you're going to make statements about its lore, the official pronoun is 'it.'
