This seems pretty bad. For 1 more mana you can play rummage, discard 1 more card and draw 2 actual cards from your deck instead of Daring Poros. If discard decks really need a lot of discards to consistently discard their discard synergy cards then I could see this seeing play. This is the only way to discard at burst speed other than rummage, so maybe that gives this some hope. In a Poro or Von Yip deck, the Daring Poro is good enough that you might even want to run more than 3 of it, so in that deck I could see it being viable. Finally, as a zero mana spell it could be useful in a fizz deck.
Once you've eaten a couple of Poro Snax, Daring Poro becomes a huge threat. Creating two at once could be a strong finisher for that kind of deck.
I think it was shown with Diana's Nightfall cards on purpose, to push people to realize/theorize the two of them together (Targon/P&Z). A zero mana spell means a free Nightfall proc, and the Daring Poros are also useful cards to trigger Nightfall ('cause they're so cheap).
It's arguably better than Warning Shot for this purpose, the main card people were speculating about for Nightfall procs.
Oh yeah! Since it discards 1 card to generate 2 cards, it's also not a net card loss like Warning Shot.
In my various Poro experiments, the card draw and elusive offered by P&Z and Daring Poro were the most effective pair for the Freljord (even though Poros were still pretty bad...I haven't played seriously in a while, so maybe they're more reasonable since the Braum/Aurora/Herder buffs).
Clearly this is a good card in a deck that can use the Poros. Hopefully it's bad in most other decks, since it seems like a card that could is either trash or easily abused in less meme-y decks.
I actually really the synergy with L2 Nocturne: you can play the spell at any time for a free nightfall activation, then after he levels drop the 2x Daring Poro such that all allies have fearsome while all enemies have -2/-0. I just don't know if that's a strong enough combo to carry an entire deck--especially if you lose access to the Targon nightfall units.
