Hearthstone's September Card Back, Faerie Tail, Has Arrived!

Once upon a time, heroes gathered to witness the creation of something special!

Hearthstone's first stream-created card back, Faerie Tail, is now yours to earn!

A few months ago, Hearthstone Artist, Luke Mancini, went through the card back concept process on stream. We got to see a few different versions of card backs he was considering for the September card back before finally landing on the Faerie Dragon theme. After a few streaming sessions, we were left with a rough coloring of what would become this month's card back. It still had to go through the 3d modelling process and effects to get it to where it is today, but this was a very awesome insight into the development process of one part of the large game that is Hearthstone.

Such a nice card back that I'm going to log in and do a few games just to get it, even though I don't really play much anymore.

I think it's time they rework how decks are shown in the match. So many beautiful card backs and you barely see your own when playing

Are you aware that you can choose "random" cardback and then every game you play it will randomly choose a cardback in your collection. This is a cool option because your cardback changes with each game

Feel like we went on the journey of it's creation ourselves, which makes it even more special now it's here.
Will definitely use it once we get it.

I think this is my favourite card back so far! Amazing artwork, cool colour scheme.
