No more sitting on that Tavern Brawl quest...

An interesting side note in the new update notes:

"Downtime for Tavern Brawls has been reduced to 1 hour per week. Tavern Brawls will now begin every week on Wednesday at 9:00 AM PDT and end the following Wednesday at 8:00 AM PDT  (times and dates will vary by region)"

I'm quite excited for this change. I wonder what you all think?

I hadn't seen that. I like it, although I expect it'll make the brawl feel slightly less special. I expect the deckbuilding brawls to be pretty monotonous by the end of the week when everyone's figured out the unbeatable combo.

Yeah I know what you mean. There's been a few Brawls lately where I've not been able to play as much as I wanted....so having a whole week is pretty nice.

I never understood why they did these 'breaks' to begin with so this is a welcome change I guess.

I maybe they didnt want people to get sick of a brawl or play only brawl, but i i am glad to see this change.

*Shrugs* honestly most brawls are very easy to figure out early on, and then to counter during the deckbuilding TBs. I don't see this change resulting in any significant difference.
