Scholar Jaina, a Hero we previously datamined in the Scholomance Academy patch, now has a source!
Announced today as a part of the Forbidden Library event, Blizzard has confirmed that this new hero portrait can be yours in the in-game shop alongside 5 Standard Mage card packs! The bundle will only be available for one week starting on September 15, so don't miss out if you want this younger version of our favourite core Mage hero.
Additional Datamined Heroes
With the new adventure, Book of Heroes, following the stories of the core heroes of Hearthstone, it looks like these heroes may be available in their own bundles in the future.
- Hunter - Warsong Rexxar
- Paladin - Second War Uther
- Paladin - Horseman Uther
- Warrior - Nagrand Garrosh
Second War Uther is more likely the candidate for the Paladin Bundle since that is the younger version, and more realistic, version of the two. Perhaps Horseman Uther will be a part of the Hearthstone Battle Pass.

We'll eventually get one of each basic heroes - I suspect they started with Jaina just because of the Scholomance flavor.
So we can expect heroes as they looked in their early years, pre-HS base hero look. OK, so that's Malfurion without the antlers, Garrosh without the chip on his shoulder, and Anduin with a literal baby-face...
Anduin as a child would be so damn annoying... not even Sir Annoy-O would be able to tilt me that much
Only 5 packs? That should make the skin very cheap, but that could also mean that it won't have new emotes or HP. It is still jaina after all
