I would like this card so much more if only it was fast speed!
At slow speed, I'm struggling to see the advantages. If you have an expensive unit that's about to die, you can heal it back to full. You can repeat any summoning effects, so maybe The Rekindler or Tianna Crownguard? There's also the obvious benefits of the stat gain and progressing Kench, but I'm just not sure that's enough for a card slot unless there's an added synergy with the captured unit itself.
This plus the undying seems so great! The problem with undying decks is that they get a big undying, but their opponent just blocks it and they lose because they don't have the blockers to stop the opponent. However, with Bayou brunch you can buff up a Hecarim really big by capturing an undying and win the game with Overwhelm+ Spectral Riders! You can also use this card to buff up a big elusive for a final push.
I think Bayou Brunch could only be a Slow speed card because making it Fast would be probably too good? It would basically act like Glimpse Beyond where it grants you value from killing your unit and wasting your opponent's resources.
Take my words with a grain of salt. I'm unranked and only play casuals lmao.
There are so many ways to abuse this card. Pick any unit with a decent summon effect, and it's great, especially if the stats are chunky. Genevieve Elmheart comes to mind.
If this were fast speed, it would be beyond broken.
