  • Very expensive, but very good! Hunter is one of the classes that has more DR synergy than others, so this can do a lot of nasty stuff.

  • Maximize those Darkmoon Stonks. Maybe gets run in a slower Deathrattle Hunter list that seems to be getting decent support, but its hard to evaluate since it doesn't really support any existing decks.

  • I already hate face hunter... knowing that 3 more [Hearthstone Card (leper gnomes) Not Found] are coming at me AGAIN late game just makes me want to rage quit.  Thankfully, it is such a high cost, it probably won't be viable in Standard.  Wild Deathrattle Hunter however....

  • This is a lot of value for one card. Obviously, N'zoth is a very powerful card which still sees a ton of play in wild. I see no reason why this spell shouldn't also be included in a lot of decks.

I doubt 8m summon 3 leper gnomes is something to worry about against face hunter

  • Very good, but also very expansive. Strong with all the support deathrattle hunter already got, but i'm afraid the entire deathrattle hunter achetpye will be TOO slow for it to actually see play. But hey it can ress Darkmoon Tonk and Oblivitron

Standard: Deathrattle hunter obviously. No other deck probably runs this.

Wild: "Hunter" and "good in Wild"? Funny joke.

  • This is even good in just a highlander deck with Khartut Defender and 2 others deathrattles just to fill.

  • If you want to play a grindy hunter deathrattle deck, you now have two extra mini-n'zoths. The problem there is that slower hunter decks aren't lacking in surprisingly strong lategame value, they need more ability to get to the late game. This clearly won't change that.

  • There might be a chance for some sort of Maxima Blastenheimer - Deathrattle Hunter in Standard after all. Unlikely more efficient than Face Hunter though.

Really good spell, synergizes perfectly with the new tonk and more DR minions Will be revealed for sure.

  • It's an 8 mana Hunter card, but it's a good one too since it plays into the current strategy being pushed of cheating out Deathrattle minions. Get a few large Deathrattle minions out and this thing will be pretty good.

  • This card has Tonk synergy, and Tonk synergy is ALWAYS. GOOD!

  • I can definitely see this played, but mostly only in Wild.

  • Seems like the "old N'zoth spell hunter" is all or nothing.. if you play those big deathrattles the tonk and the cannon lady.. sure.. if not nah.. you want really impactful DRs with this, and not the 1/2 cobra for example.

  • For now just meme... need more support. WIll rate it any higher than 2 stars only if there is such support...

  • Expensive and slow ; what deathrattle are worth running in Hunter other than the Darkmoon Tonk ?

  • Doubt this control deathrattle mech hunter would be any good. But if I get all the required cards, I'll definitely attempt the deck. This isn't an insta craft card, though may see more play over time if hunter gets better deathrattles with each new expansion

  • With this card and N'zoth you can get a strong boards an late turns.

This is the original N'zoth battlecry, so 5 for the nostalgia

  • Khartut Defender, Darkmoon Tonk and maybe Oblivitron. That's all the DR synergy this card needs to be a one off in Big Boi Hunter.

  • Its always a little iffy trying to evaluate value cards in hunter.

But this one gets a little more than a glance because Khartut Defender as a defensive option is so terrifying that getting 3 back for this card cements down hunter well enough for them to do things that hunter normal could not, like pulling out combos with Scarlet Webweaver shenanigans or Hunting Party stuff.

Unfortunately, since hunter would probably want to play other deathrattles as well, most likely you'll be praying hard for that Khartut Defender to show up at least once, otherwise this card will simply mean skipping a turn for hunter. Without any means of guaranteeing it, I can't say I can see how this card will flip anything.

  • 1 Khartut Defender alone already gives you a good Defense the Turn you play this. But outside of that, there's not many big Deathrattles in Standard atm that you would want to resurect. There's Darkmoon Tonk and maybe Plagued Protodrake and [Hearthstone Card (Oblvitron) Not Found].

But I could see this easily become very powerfull in later Expansions.

  • Seems eh on paper but with tonk launcher lady you might be able to rattle enough off before playing this to be pretty good I think it will be played quite a bit at least in some sort of big hunter

  • Only worth it when discovered, way too costly for constructed.

  • Resurrect effects tend to work best with efficient defensive minions, like Khartut Defender. However, Jewel of N'Zoth is in Hunter, which cares more about aggression and the deathrattle minions, like Darkmoon Tonk, also enourage aggression. Considering this, I think that Jewel is too slow for Hunter and perhaps too inconsistent with the current set of Hunter cards in Standard.

  • Face Hunter is going to be annoying with this, Maxima, and all their other tools.

  • We're gonna get there one day. Big Hunter on the horizon.

  • Rexxar decided to become a priest

  • Good callback to OG N'Zoth and fits the class that will run some high-cost deathrattles.  I like it alot.

  • Here it is, one of my favourite cards in the set! We gonna be playing Plagued Protodrake and all sorts of other nonsense in my Hunter lists. I don't even care if it's good, it's so much fun.

  • My reward track epic. Going to remember it fondly as it collects dust. Or maybe it could BE dust?

  • As everyone mentioned, some combination of Khartut Defender and Darkmoon Tonk makes this worthwhile. Bit incidental to a Blastenheimer deck, but works.

  • Sadly for lepper gnome hunter this is insane but pretty much expensive. Anyway it could work as a win-condition.

  • This gives me hope for a slower hunter deck, but as usual with that deck it probably will crash and burn without any cards in hand. Won't stop me from trying it out though!

  • Glad they're pushing Hunter decks that aren't just face face face

  • I'm a bit sad that this is too expensive to see play, but there are some really interesting N'Zoth Menagerie builds for Hunter with minions that also happen to have Deathrattle. If Hunter can ever figure out a way to become a slower Control class, this card might shine.

  • This will be interesting if Hunter gets enough deathrattles to make this worthwhile. I saw someone earlier commentin about the option to trigger this after the leper gnome quest completion. I'm not sure Hunter will want to do that with eight mana, but maybe it works out. They might be low enough on cards by that point that an eight mana spell to bring up 6 face damage is sufficient.
