Here's the shaman mandatory weapon to promote the archetype, not that it is a staple tho ..
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Its just better War Axe. Combined with the new legendary, that’s a 10 damage to the dome... really good burst, it could actually provide that small boost that is needed to close out games. Eh, I’m not going to bash the new archetype until we actually get to try it out. Just... not getting my hopes up
This ain't no place for a hero
3 mana 3/2 weapons are usually decent, so it is ok I suppose.
I am envoy from nowhere in nowhere. Nobody and nothing have sent me. And even though it is impossible I exist. ©Trimutius
Nearly all 3 mana 3/2 weapons have seen play somewhere, so it seems that might too. Helps that general 3-drops that you want to play on turn 3 are not that common in Shaman right now, and 3 mana weapons aren't really a thing to them either.
A good followup to Cagematch Custodian. Most of the time, a 3 mana 3/2 weapon is pretty good, but usually not good enough to make the cut without another ability. I think the extra +1/+1 bonus is a big enough plus for you to run this in any aggro/midrange shaman deck. Shamans especially can make good use of this buff with their 0-attack totems lying around.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Curves well with Cagematch Custodian, so I expect to see the two in the same deck. I'm not sure if this is a staple in this Attack Shaman archetype that's shaping up though. 3 mana 3/2 weapon is a strong baseline, but the effect feels a bit 'meh' in comparison to some other weapons. Idk, we'll have to see it in practice, but I'm not blown away on initial impressions.
Solid, but not magically good. Shamans were lacking a 3-Mana weapon from Standard so this will fill that slot quite nicely.
This is pretty decent with a good effect.
This card compared favorably to Powermace a very powerful weapon I would say, it's much better, since it doesn't ahve to even be a mech this time so you can play it everywhere.. the 1/1 can be "charge"/"rush" dmg
3 mana 3/2 weapon with effect is really good, and now shama can tutor it on turn 2 for a perfect curve.
Now shaman needs a good 1 drop, Surging Tempest doesn't synergizes with the new archetype.
By The Holy Light!
It's basically 5/4 stats in total for 3 mana, so it's not bad. This card can also slot into multiple archetypes from aggro to midrange. Decent card
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Fiery War Axe + a 2/2 after 2 turns. Not sure that this is really that great. Not bad, but not really at the level of playability.
This post is discussing the wild format.
A better Fiery War Axe. But is it enough for weapon shaman to be viable? I think not. It does have good synergy with Inara Stormcrash though. Gives the weapon 5 attack and windfury, and make Inara Stormcrash harder to clear thanks to that 2x 1+/+1 buff. (If Inara Stormcrash is the only minion on board.)
But i feel like this isn't enough to make weapon shaman viable...
Standard: Weapon shaman, but it needs more support.
Wild: Even though it's ODD Costed i'm not sure ODD Shaman wants this... Sure it can make the spell-damage totems harder to kill, but ODD Shaman often has a bunch of overloaded mana crystals, which makes playing [Hearthstone Card (Whack a Gnoll hammer) Not Found] harder to play...
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Good weapon for a token build, and with the shaman legendary you can get the effect twice on the same turn, I hope if this 'gladiator' shaman build will make it in the new meta
Midrange Shaman sucks pretty bad right now, but this is a nice tool to accelerate it. Don't see this card shaping the meta, but I can see being used a fair amount (plus great card to regenerate with Hoard Pillager).
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
This is *fine* but I don't think it's quite good enough. Maybe i'm totally off but I was feeling like Shaman needed a bonkers weapon to push this "enhancement weapon shaman" deck and I don't think this is quite there. The 2/2 tutor and the legendary are both really good though.
A 3-mana 3/2 weapon with +2/+2 stats attached is way better than "fine."
yeah though the same, also the class hero power mostly guarantees that the +1+1 will go somewhere.
Ability of the card: 6/10
The name of the card: 20/10
will defitley see play in that enhancement archetype
TOTAL CORRUPTION
TOTAL POWAAAAAAA
Powermace is the best comparison here. They're really quite similar, but this is just slightly slower but more flexible.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
I would say this is faster, you get a 1/1 Stat earlier than power mace.
3/2 weapon for 3. Yes, its respectable. But is it ever going to light the world on fire? Emphatically no.
At its very best, it will buff one minion. Likely a 1 drop or a totem you played on 2. But most likely it will simply just do nothing more than deal 3 damage.
How wonderful this would've been had it been a 2 drop weapon. But we live in a world where shaman either gets extremely broken stuff or gimmicky bs, and this falls in the latter category.
Doesn't even curve into Deathmatch Pavilion. Like really? Are we really designing cards like this for shaman?
No, you're right. I think I just reversed them in my head. Too many cards to comment on!!!

Nice effect solid bonk power mixed with board buffs I expect to see some use out of it
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
What to say, slightly better than the nerfed Fiery War Axe.
Not a great card, but will still find a place in Weapon Shaman
Good card, not too interesting tho
All hail the banshee queen.
3 mana 3/2 weapons are usually good. Even outside of an enhancement shaman specific build.
Final card to comment on, and I think it's pretty strong. I think this weapon is what is needed for weapon shaman to be good. The extra buffs to minions are really appriciated.

Seems good, especially if you care at all about having a board presence.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Even if the Shaman attacking thing doesn't take off, this is a strong weapon and the exact type of buffs that might actually be viable - unlike Ringmaster's Baton, which I want to work but know probably won't.
Strong weapon, +2/+2 in buffs and the buffs go straight to the board for potential use right away. I'm in.
Welcome to the site!
My issue with this is that it feels terrible to attack with without a minion on board, and even then I don't think the buff is substantial enough. Sure, it curves nicely with Cagematch Custodian, but will the Custodian usually live to be buffed? My answer is no: the early game is usually about trading early resources to prevent early damage. There are just better weapons at Shaman's disposal, which isn't a great sign for the class.
For glory, honor, and gold!
I want this and weapon/aggro shaman to be good.
Chumbawumba is the worst band name.
Decent weapon stats, and the buff on top of it makes it playable
Good cheap Weapon for aggressive Shaman decks--letting you control the board while buffing your minions and letting them go face. Works exceptionally well with Cagematch Custodian.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
I guess this is a good weapon on a token/totem Shaman deck. Stats alone might make it worth playing.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
