Annoying statline, but I probably still wouldn't play it in Zoolock to protect other minions. 1-Attack often leads to bad trades.

If Hearthstone cards could feel sadness, Silverback Patriarch would be the most sad. It always makes me chuckle whenever this card gets powercreeped.
I really do like this card though. 2 mana 1/5 is now my new favorite stat-line, and the taunt makes it playable. Give it a buff or two, and this card by itself will play a huge role in stopping aggro decks.

Alas, poor Silverback. No card seems to get so consistently powercrept every single expansion. This card seems great though, curves fantastically with Man'ari Mosher.

2 mana 1/5 is annoying to get past. Not all classes are capable of doing 5 damage on turn 2, and the 5 damage later in the game can soak up a bit of damage.
And Silverback Patriarch is once again, feeling sadness in the corner.

That's a thicc body for 2 mana, reminds me of Shadowjeweler Hanar's original statline. I dunno how viable this will be though, then again, Vulgar Homunculus saw play before except it had 2 attack, which was better for trading.
I think Voidwalker is just better, you lose two health for 1 mana and that's just enough.
Just fodder really. Cant have so many good demons without also some mediocre ones.
At least its not completely trash. But I would still put Voidwalker above it.
A 2 mana 1/5 is really good, it just needs a few buffs to really take off in zoo warlock. I’m not really sure if you would want to run this in a Control decks, and it would definitely suck to get this from a Demonic Studies, alongside all the trash demons already available

Annoying statline but i'm unsure if zoolock wants this, they prefer aggressively statted minions. Control warlock probably doesn't want it either, because it can be a bad card to summon from something like N'Zoth, God of the Deep or Bloodreaver Gul'dan. You rather have one of your big demons get summoned instead.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
I don't think this card would be played in zoo. Maybe with some buffs from Imprisoned Scrap Imp sure, but I find myself thinking this is better as a minor stall for control

Well they're pushing a lot of demon synergy for warlock this expansion, so this seems pretty good. You can buff its stats, reduce its cost, etc.

Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
This is basically the taunt version of Druid of the Swarm, which did see play in Token Druid back in the day. The main advantage the Druid has over Midway Maniac is that Druid as a class had buffs to better take advantage of the stat line. However, Warlock is getting Man'ari Mosher, which curves out well with Maniac. I think Maniac is the best 2 cost demon for mosher, but does that in of itself constitute a great play? I'd say no, as after you play the Mosher you're still left with a 1 attack minion that did nothing else but provide stats and is going to take terrible trades.

Demon tag makes this see play, also because it's 2 mana. It's basically better voidwalker for zoo.

I think we're getting close to a tipping point where Demon decks actually become good. If that happens in an upcoming expansion, then this card is going to suddenly see a lot of play, especially considering how well it does with buffs like Imprisoned Scrap Imp.

Not sure if +2 health on Voidwalker is enough to have it run in Zoo, and Control isn't so desperate for early/cheap taunts.

While I love the artwork, I don't think this is something warlocks want or need.
Demon Zoo will want this guy, and with Fire Breather I think it might actually have some legs. That 1 Attack is disappointing, but there's plenty of ways to buff it up as needed if it sticks around, which it likely will.

I like it, hope demon zoo is fun because it looks rather cheap.
Chumbawumba is the worst band name.
If demon zoo will be a real deck, this card will be in it for its synergies with cards like Man'ari Mosher. However, it does not do enough by itself and will only be played in dedicated demon zoo decks.
Should see play due to how easy it is for Warlocks to buff demons
This is a solid body with a cheap Cost. Demon Zoo probably runs it (hoping to curve into Man'ari Mosher probably) but it's probably not going to be in other decks.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
Annoying taunt to set up a turn three minion that you want to stick around. I don't know if it makes sense in most cases.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
