  • That's cute and effective - should see play

  • Weapon tutor, nice! Helps to find Runic Dagger and The Totem Axe, for what its worth.

  • It an ok weapon tutor if Shaman needs it

  • Tutors are always nice so this might see play, especially if Shaman gets a really bonkers weapon in the future. So far the good weapon targets this can get are The Fist of Ra-den, Rune Dagger (should Spell Damage Shaman ever take off), Doomhammer, and the new weapon that was just revealed.

  • Pretty much Cavern Shinyfinder for Shaman. Shinyfinder was good for fetching Kingsbane. This will similarly be just as good to fetch a weapon with as high of a drawing priority as Kingsbane. So I think this will work out quite nicely.

  • Yahoo! Draw for Shaman! I don't care if it is very limited in what it can draw, I am just excited that we finally have a Shaman minion with decent stats that draws you a card with no downsides. Also, weapon shaman seems very interesting. I wonder what the thought process was that led the designers to create this archetype.

  • Tutor's on bodies have typically found some level of play, so I suspect this to be run.  How frequently this is run is anyone's guess, I suspect there will still be more Attack/Weapon Shaman support revealed.

  • Tutor with acceptable stats. If Enhancement Shaman will become a thing, this will be in every list. Decks running The Fist of Ra-den might also consider adding this guy in.

  • This is a nice little card to go with the shaman's new weapon.

  • Very solid, drawing a card unconditionally on a 2/2 for 2 is quite powerful. specially if you base your deck on it.

Shaman have a lot of Standar weapons, specially the new 3/2, Rune Dagger and [Hearthstone Card (fist of ra'den) Not Found].

Solid tutor draw woth tribe, i like it.

  • This can be really fun in some kind of wild elemental battlecry deck with Jade Claws, Rummaging Kobold, Murmuring Elemental etc. Lots and lots of Jade Golems.

  • Blizz loves giving Shaman these 2 mana 2/2 elementals for some reason. The weapon tutor is ofc the best thing about this card, so it'll see play in many archetypes that use weapons

Edit: Also don't forget Quest Shaman still exists

  • Weapon shaman, I guess? Tutoring up weapons is not an awful effect, but unlike in rogue, there aren't really any game-defining weapons available to tutor. Maybe just fetching a Stormforged Axe is okay? Not seeing this in any major decks, but maybe old style shaman burst effects could be strong enough. Inara Stormcrash + 2 Rockbiter Weapon is already 16 damage + 2*your weapon's attack.

  • I think weapon shaman might flop, but this card is still amazing in nearly every other shaman deck though. Most shaman decks love to run at least a few weapons. Highlander and Control shaman like [Hearthstone Card (Fist of Ra-den) Not Found], Spell-damage shaman likes a Rune Dagger tutor, Evolve shaman likes a way to draw Boggspine Knuckles before turn 5, and totem shaman likes a way to tutor Splitting Axe. And that's just standard. In wild: Cagematch Custodian gives JADE Shaman Jade Claws and in EVEN Shaman it draws Likkim and Stormforged Axe.

This is a fenominal card that will see a huge amount of play. If you have a few weapons in your deck, why NOT add Cagematch Custodian?

    So my deck predictions summarized:

Standard: Highlander Shaman, Control Shaman, Spell-damage Shaman, Evolve Shaman and totem Shaman.

Wild: Evolve Shaman, Jade Shaman and EVEN Shaman. Maybe elemental shaman might like it too? It's a elemental after all.

  • Very good draw for shaman who lacks of it entirely

  • I can see this seeing play. While Shaman weapons overall aren't amazing, they do accelerate whatever gameplan the deck has. I for one do like the possibility to tutor out Boggspine Knuckles and make Evolve Shaman more consistent.

  • Great card.  This is the kind of card shaman needs to be good.  Decent body, tutors one of you build around cards.  great early and still fine to draw later on.

Probably some applications for this little bugger in wild.  even shaman, quest shaman with jades.

  • Flavor's a bit strange, but I'm sure I'll get used to it, considering we're going to be seeing a lot of it over the next year or so.

  • Is it me or does 2 mana elementals look the same in shaman?

  • This is an awesome card.  Allowing you to grab a weapon from your deck for 2 mana AND has a 2/2 body? totally worth it.

  • Shamans are definitely going to be whacking plenty of things this expansion. I expect to see Tidal Wave a lot more.

  • If it weren't for Doomhammer, Boggspine Knuckles and The Fist of Ra-den, I'd rate this as trash. Unfortunately, since all three don't synergizes well with Inara, I'd have to wonder how any of these cards were when they were first being designed.

The potential of this card is obviously tied to the weapons shaman has available. With the knuckles itself will guarantee that this card sees play. But I'm more into the potential of this card with doomhammer. Its kinda easy to forget how powerful a windfury weapon can be, especially in a class as stuck as shaman is.

  • Shaman sure does love its 2/2/2s huh? Well as always tutoring is good even if its for something weird like weapons

  • Did they reuse the art of Menacing Nimbus?

  • Tutors specific cards, and that makes this insane. Having a body attached is just icing.

  • Tutored draw on a decent stat minion would be good.  I think it will see some play, even outside of hard weapon shaman.

  • Solid card and it's an elemental so it has some synergies

  • This goes in my runespear deck. It isn't a good deck, but it is a fun deck.

  • Pretty much an upgrade on Menacing Nimbus as you'd much rather draw a card than add a random one to your hand. Currently, I'd say most Shaman fringe archetypes has a weapon they want to draw, whether it's [Hearthstone Card (Runic Spear) Not Found], Splitting Axe, or maybe even Doomhammer. I don't think this sees play with Whack-A-Gnoll Hammer as that weapon is too inconsistent even though it curves into Custodian. Overall, I think the presence of Custodian in the meta is limited by the presence of Shaman in the meta.

  • Eh, draw is a draw, and there are actually options for Shaman for what weapon to use.

  • Nice weapon tutor. Again, I saw Kibler using this to great effect in an evolve Shaman earlier today. I'm very much looking forward to using this one.

  • This is a very good card. The only thing holding it back is the quality of Shaman's weapons.

  • Solid card even if the new archetype doesn't take off. Any Shaman that has like, two or three weapons would be happy with this.

  • Decent stats and gets the job done
