  • I don't think the payoff is good enough to incentivize playing this over some more impactful minions.

  • with how much draw DH has this can make for quite crazy turns with chaining skulls of guldan and such.. miracle DH

  • Cool effect and that statline for (3) mana alone is enough to make it work

  • Premium stats with a very useful ability which can help an otherwise underused keyword become more popular. What's not to love?

  • Turn 5 Skull of Gul'dan is gonna be back, if you don't clear Line Hopper. Line Hopper also has amazing stats for 3 mana, so it fit's in aggro very well. In the reveal stream we did see that Eye Beam couldn't get it's cost lowered to 0 mana, but i guess it's because Eye Beam is hard coded to cost 1 mana when outcast. Just to clear things up.

Standard: This will see play in aggro DH, because of synergy with cards like 1 mana Spectral Sight, 0 mana Crimson Sigil Runner and free Consume Magic. "when the face plays taunt, we still go FACE."

Wild: Good stats and ODD Costed, so it would seem like a ODD DH card. But i'm not that sure about it honestly. A LOT of Outcast cards are EVEN costed, so their is not that much benefit to include Line Hopper. (Only good ODD outcast cards are Crimson Sigil Runner and Consume Magic.) Actually now that i check it, Dreadlord's Bite seems nice to cost reduce, so you can play some other stuff alongside it... Actually i change my mind, Line Hopper MIGHT see experimentation. But that's all i can think off.

  • Discount aura on a premium statted body, I suspect this will see play.  I don't think it fits into current lists, but I think there will be a more dedicated Miracle DH this expac.

  • Seems a bit of a win-more card to me. Good stats/cost though!

    • if there enough need for  dh to have a value oriented deck this this will definitly be played

  • The card is good, but what makes it really good are the amount of 1 mana cards with outcats DH has.
    Specially all the draw options.

  • If you happen to have a few low cost Outcast cards in hand when this drops, it could be good.

  • Question: does the Outcast need to be active for this card to discount it? If not, you can drop un-oucasted cards with a discount for extra tempo, which can be game winning in its own right.

And even if Outcast does need to be active, Aggro DH uses Outcast a lot AND has a small shortage of good 3 drops, often relying on a "not really a 3 drop" 3 drop in Satyr Overseer.

  • well maybe we start including more Outcast cards? Maybe not though

  • Even with vanilla stats, this thing is just not good. The effect lets you have something like Eye Beam for free (if outcasted) but since it doesn't curve into skull, what exactly are we hoping this card would actually do?

Besides which, its not like dhunters are lacking 3 drops, with Satyr Overseer and Felsteel Executioner or even Frozen Shadoweaver the better card compared to this.

  • I don't see what archetype this would fix in? A bit too slow for aggro and I don't think soul DH has many outcast casts. Maybe we lucky and we can finally get a viable mid range DH with lots of outcast, maybe...

  • 3 mana 3/4s with upsides usually see some play, so I can see this card being experimented with, although the upside isn't that big, so it might fall off. It's hard to be able to use the Outcast and discount together effectively. Although that said, the Outcast cards will be discounted even if their Outcast effects aren't active, and maybe reducing their Costs by 1 might incentivize you to play them without Outcast? In most cases, it probably won't though.

  • Best scenario is when it can be used along 1 mana outcast cards

  • Just kinda not worth it.  Randomly getting it won't be that bad, but it's not worth running in your deck.

  • Nice aura I guess not sure if it will stick around long enough for you to use it too much though

  • Like with Redeemed Pariah, I just don't think Outcast cards are cheap enough, abundant enough, or easily played from hand enough to make use of multiple discounts in a given turn. When compared to Sorcerer's Apprentice in Mage, there are plenty of cheap spells that don't require hand position to make cheating out multiple spells way easier than what Line Hopper can accomplish in DH.

  • Totally worth it in the new heavily outcast themed DH deck.

  • There are other cards you'd prefer to have in your deck, but this is on the edge of playable.

  • I can already see DH just cycling cards left and right(literally)

  • On one hand, most Outcast effects that people care about are very expensive cards like Skull of Gul'dan. On the other hand, yeah, I can see Crimson Sigil Runner and Spectral Sight being run again.

  • I don't yet see the combo you're trying to pull off with this guy.

  • It's not  bad card stats-wise, but I don't know if it's effect will make it a must have.

  • The outcast cards that get mana reduction as the outcast effect will like this, but the ones that have other effects won't bother. I don't think this gets included in current DH lists.

  • Spider Tank with upside, and still probably not good enough to make the cut in a good deck.

If there are a hardoutcast deck maybe will see play with the new Redeemed Pariah.

  • Likely to be a staple in most Demon Hunter decks, since the stats alone make it worth it

  • Honestly not a good enough pay-off to take up a slot I think. Still, you don't have to cast the Outcast cards from the left or right, just in general, which might make it worth a 1-of.
