Handbuffs are generally not that good, but i think this is a decent handbuff card. Works well with Ringmaster Whatley and with N'Zoth, God of the Deep. I'm actually interested as to what kinds of new cards you can buff with [Hearthstone Card (Ringmasters Baton) Not Found]. Also strong with Tomb Warden.
Standard: Seems like it's going to be in some kind of handbuff control warrior. I don't know if it's going to be any good. Handbuffs never really worked before, so i'm still very skeptical about Ringmaster's Baton. Were probably gonna get some very powerfull cards that synergies with it, otherwise Ringmaster's Baton isn't going to work well. Also there are a bunch of weapon buffing cards in standard, so it's not that hard to get a lot of buffs from Ringmaster's Baton.
Wild: If it aint Paladin, Handbuffing aint working. Unless we are about to get some OP cards that synergies with it, i don't think it will make an impact in wild.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
I'm a sucker for handbuffs, so I'm gonna try to make this work if I open two of them. I'm not confident enough to craft it, but the prospect of ""+9/+9"" for two mana is too juicy for me to not at least consider.
I mean if you've got a pirate, dragon or mech to play on curve this is pretty strong, but that's a big if, and with Ringmaster Whatley I feel like there's a specific dragon, pirate and mech you wanna pull. Like..maye something with taunt? so that Armagedillo also buffs them too?
WAIT YES THAT'S IT!
You make your deck have cards like Evasive Drakonid, Dread Corsair, and Tomb Warden, use Whately to draw them, and Armagedillo to buff them on curve. And then you use this to add extra value for a menagerie taunt deck.
And you throw in N'zoth so you summon them again for a big wall.
AWW YEAH IT'S ALL COMING TOGETHER
It is Mean streets all over again? Bunch of garbage hand buff...

Kinda like Brass Knuckles but it seems to have better cost/stats.
Looks like blizz wanna push menagerie archetype for warrior.
I think that warrior will get new tribe minions that set.
By The Holy Light!
At least they've finally figured out that hand buffs need to be cheap.
Are we going back to Kara?
In my opinion, the cards that will benefit most from the handbuffs are early game tempo oriented cards, like Faerie Dragon/Evasive Feywing for dragons, Southsea Deckhand for pirates (which can be pretty strong if the weapon still has durability after the attack and Skybarge(?) (I don't see many more early game mechs, but Skybarge by itself can be a 4/7 if you play the weapon on 2 and attack both turns before slapping it on 3 and it can curve out into an 8/7 Evasive Feywing on 4).
Oh wow, talked myself into thinking this card can be good.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
It's not a bad card, but it is heavily reliant on menagerie builds being strong to work.
Based upon karazan, menagerie decks tend to be midrange to aggro, and aren't bad, but will need a lot of good support in this set to be competitive.
This post is discussing the wild format.
At least it has one support card with the legendary revealed with it. I now expect to see a mech, a murloc, and a dragon for warrior.
at least this time around the hand buff cards costs a reasonable amount of mana instead of.. 4.. this has tutors as well as the target tribes for the synergy also already have some synergy..
there's the cannon that's a mech and warrior already runs pirates..
we will see if it actually works this time around maybe they learned from both failures of managerie and handbuffing and this time it makes sense..
Being able to give +3/+3 to minions in your hand is pretty good. Sure it doesn't hit every minion, but compared to some of the hand-buffs hunter gets, this is pretty powerful. I don't think it is too terribly powerful, but if you are already playing N'zoth or the new Legendary then this is just too good not to include.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
The problem I see with this card is that it's reliant on having all 3 tribes in your hand to be good (in turn, reliant on you played Ringmaster Whatley first), and handbuffs are generally quite slow and see little play.
There is theoretically a place where this can shine, but even in new N'Zoth Warriors, I hardly imagine a slow +3/+3 handbuff on a few minions is what's going to make the deck.
There's some real potential here guys! Menagerie will be a whole new way to play control warrior.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
The problem here is that its a weapon, and it deals very little damage, and its effect is somewhat conditional.
Best case scenario will likely involve you having a very exact hand, like maybe Sky Raider, Evasive Feywing, and maybe Skybarge. But that's so exact its impractical. I think realistically we're looking at this buffing maybe 2 cards by turn 3, with the end result of one minion with +3/3 by turn 4. Its not really that bad to be honest.
Of course, there's the problem of this card dealing only 1 damage per turn so there's that as well.
If this menagerie theme keeps getting more support, I might have to buy the bundle. I really want to try this warrior Menagerie deck with Hack the System.
Its means streets all over again, but worse, as its also WotOG revival ..
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
A throwback Thursday card for sure. I don't recall Brass Knuckles seeing much play back then, so I'm skeptical with this as well. Maybe Menagerie Warrior will become a thing, and this would probably see play in it.
This card will only see play if a menagerie deck is viable, which I hope it is. The low mana cost makes this card look promising, especially if you can get buffs on some bigger dragons like Deathwing, Mad Aspect but I don't see how the deck will survive after Year of the Phoenix is over and all the good dragons from DoD rotate out. Time will tell
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Could be a good card - if Menagiere Warrior is going to be a thing - i guess this one has potential!

Some kind of menagerie hand buff warrior?
i dont see this as good compared to the rest of the warrior cards this expansion
TOTAL CORRUPTION
TOTAL POWAAAAAAA
Even with the support I don't think menagerie warrior is going to work but otherwise its a fine weapon I guess +3/+3 at least
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
I'd argue that this is better than Brass Knuckles, but Ringmaster's Baton is still slow in both the attack and the buffs. If you play this on turn two, it isn't very likely that you have all three minion types in hand. If you play this later in the game, three turns to get the buffs is too slow and the immediate +1/+1 buff is not likely to matter. I just think that there are better cards that support your N'Zoth, God of the Deep build than this.
For glory, honor, and gold!
I'm not convinced of the power level of this card, but I do see it being played in some grindy Control Warrior deck. Warrior is a class with access to lots of removal and armor gain, so they can afford to buff the big minions their control decks usually employ. Not to mention the class has gotten some excellent tutor cards like Corsair Cache and Ringmaster Whatley. Buffing Tent Trasher, Circus Amalgam, that mech golem, Armagedillo, Deathwing, Mad Aspect, and the new pirate that gives you a 3/2 weapon seems like a pretty good deal. Needless to say, I'm excited to try out Menagerie Warrior this season.
Got me inspired, sounds good enough, and fun. I always thought Armagedillo is a mech! As a beast, with this amount of good taunts, he should be one of key cards in menagerie for sure.
Amazing potential, especially with the new amalgam.
I doubt this see much play will be experimented with. Potential +9/+9 from a weapon is great, but handbuffs have been lackluster so far in HS.
Cool if you actually play those 3 types in the same deck
All hail the banshee queen.
Upside: Gives out up to +9/+9 to your hand. Downside: You're swinging a 1-attack weapon and likely dumping out those cards before they get more than 1 or two buffs.
Seems like an O.K. card, but I think handbuffs could still be slow. But if menagerie is good, this will be good.

Kinda kinky :o
My brain says it's bad, but my heart desperately wants it to be good, because handbuff is a fun idea - watching your minions grow and grow and using them to swarm over your opponent in the end.
I do have to say the flavour is a little weird - clearly just done to tick the boxes for Warriors most-used tribes - but ah well.
Welcome to the site!
One of those epics I get one of, don't have the other menagerie deck pieces, they're not good enough to craft, and it just sits in my collection.
Chumbawumba is the worst band name.
I don't think it's worth playing, but works well for a low curve Warrior Menagerie.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
This is an interesting card, but I don't see it happening right now. You would have to have the right minions available to buff and have the weapon. I know there are weapon tutors, but I dont think those three minion types are going to have a good deck that they would all be in.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
Cheap way to get extra stats onto good minions that you chose to put in your deck. My biggest issue is that as the game goes on this kills fewer and fewer minions, which means you're swinging it just to get the buff. Should still be something people at least toy with for a couple weeks.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
Decent buffing tool I guess, might push the menagerie archetype with N'Zoth
