A strong card, but I'm not sure it comes down soon enough for the taunt to matter against aggro. If the token were a little more defensive or the card had a smaller effect at a lower cost, I think this would be great, but I can't see this making a big impact.
In terms of proactive use, midrange paladin is just not likely to take off any time soon.
This post is discussing the wild format.
Seems good, 3 attack weapons aren't the best in the mid game but a 6/6 taunt with it I can see a lot of value there..
it's quite flexible board control card.
It's not terrible. It's a much better Fire Elemental and might see play in existing archetypes
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
More fuel for big pally, i like it.
Big archetype are my favourites and i love that blizz pushes them.
By The Holy Light!
Not strong enough to see constructed play in any serious deck. Fantastic Arena card tho.
This ain't no place for a hero
Incredible card. 6 mana 6/6 with taunt is nice, AND you get a 3/3 weapon, which is really nice. Basicly it's a both a defensive and offensive card in 1. Can't really say nothing bad about this card. It's Fire Elemental with a weapon attached, and +3 health & taunt.
Standard: This will see plenty of play in Pure paladin lists, and because it's no minion it will surely see play in BIG Paladin. Great supportive card to these archetypes.
Wild: Not sure if this will be that great in wild. Turn 6 is pretty late against aggro, and most paladin decks are already STACKED with 6+ cost cards, so it has a LOT of competition in those decks. Also most paladin decks in wild right now are spell focused, and often more aggro-y. The only decks that might use Hammer of the Naaru are some OTK Paladin lists i guess?
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
This card looks really good! Lots of value for 6 mana.

Just a decent weapon that puts up tempo and gets the job done. An honest, dependable, hardworking card. He's not the guy on the center stage, or that guy that scores all the goals in football, but he can and will be respected from all sides wherever he goes.
The card is okay.
I LOVE the art though. I think the artists do an amazing job in general with this game, and the design coordination between the card frame and the artwork is always so clean
This card will be a staple in most or all Paladin decks. It's way too good to be side lined.
This card is rock solid, it's not flashy but it's efficient, which is sometimes all that's important
In terms of raw value, a 3/3 weapon + 6/6 Taunt for 6 mana is obviously quite insane.
A 3-Attack weapon doesn't do quite as much at that stage in the game, but it's still something. If anything, you could use it as 9 face damage if you want to. I think this is a good card. 4 stars.
Decent, maybe makes the cut in pure paladin. I can see it.

This would definitely be better as a cheaper, smaller weapon that summoned a smaller guy. Then it would be better support for Big Paladin and also be better against aggro. I don't think it is a bad card as it is, but it isn't broken or anything. It is a strong midrange card that gives you plenty of stats and some extra damage. This will probably see play in any midrange list that wants some extra big dudes.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
I suspect this card to see a ton of play. It's just such good value for the cost in any remotely slow Paladin list. 6/6 is a pretty decent set of stats and makes for a decent threat for pure pally to make in addition to all of its other threats and a 3/3 weapon can help close out tight games considering their general lack of direct damage.
That's just gross. 6 for 6/6 with taunt is mediocre at best. Add onto it that you can wing for 9 damage as well, that makes my skin crawl.
I think this is a good card, my concern is that I don't see a synergy for this with other cards Pala has, I guess you can include this in a highlander deck just to fill.
This card isn't terrible. A taunt is always nice and there is a bonus weapon included.
Pretty good card card.
A 6/6 by itself is worth 5.5 worth of mana, adding a 3/3 weapon on top of it is very good. Another good thing is the payoff is unconditional, you don't need support to make it work.
Compared to Tirion, it comes out two turns sooner and gives you immediate access to your weapon, at the cost of divine shield and slightly worse weap9n stats. Great card in pure/control/big decks
The weapon doesn't ring anything too fancy, but given that you get as pretty large taunt, on curve, it is useful
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
That's a lot of value for 6 mana! I think this is really strong, but I'm not sure if it has a given place in any current archetype. Very good for board control though, auto-pick in Arena.
Wow 15 damage if weapon is not destroyed it's a lot.
Very strong card imho
This is a really tough sell when you compare it to Libram of Hope as you are usually able to get the Libram down around turn 6-7. The only way I see Hammer of the Naaru working is with N'Zoth, God of the Deep as the best elemental option, although I'm a bit skeptical of N'Zoth's game-ending potential as I think he's the weakest of the new Old Gods.
For glory, honor, and gold!
Arathi Weaponsmith on steroids. Both the 6/6 taunt and the 3/3 weapon are underwhelming by themselves, but together they can be good... in arena, the same place Arathi Weaponsmith finds a home. Seems too un-synergistic with the things Paladins do in constructed to see play.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
I think the card's a bit too fair for its cost, given the broken stuff that can happen on turn 6 these days. I can't see this slotting into existing meta archetypes for Paladin, but if a Menagerie archetype gets enough support courtesy of N'Zoth, God of the Deep, Paladin would probably run this card in it. Whether or not that ends up being a good archetype remains to be seen.
He just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich!
I think Menagerie Paladin is definitely something people will try, and would expect the Hammer to be included there. N'Zoth, in my opinion, will be a powerful tempo swing at worst; I don't see him as that weak.
really nice card
TOTAL CORRUPTION
TOTAL POWAAAAAAA
Cool I guess doesn't fit the faire theme at all but cool nonetheless its also crazy boring since its just a vanilla weapon with a dude attached
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
Seems decent, but not good enough I think.
This card doesn't deserve to be an epic. Insanely strong though, but boring design for an epic.

Great for N'zoth for the elemental, though I could see it making it's way into other Paladin decks as well.
Very strong standalone card.
solid card, might cost a tad too much to see play in standart
All hail the banshee queen.
I like that they gave Paladin some elemental for a N'Zoth deck.
Even if you aren't building towards some N'zoth payoff, this is a pretty rock solid card.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
It's a decent card, but probably too expensive to get put into an actual deck. That said, I wouldn't be displeased to see this off of Lightforged Crusader.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
The weapon is pretty solid for itself but also having a 6/6 with taunt is a very good stopper for aggro decks.

Strong card, you get a lot of value for its cost
More divine shield taunts for Paladin. This one includes a weapon to help clear a small minion that might be used to pop the shield. Pairs up nice with the libram that heals and summons the 8/8.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
I thought this was just fairly decent - until I realised this is another big Elemental to resummon with N'Zoth. Then I became far more interested.
