Woah ... already a strong nerf candidate it would seems
Thats ... pretty potent
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
if you could play it on turn 3 it would be insane but at turn 5.. or 4 after spending coin it's clunky I think.. and which deck would it fit?
It looks like Injured Blademaster finally got his act together. I am pretty sure this will see play in any board-based priest deck. The stats are good and it isn't difficult to Corrupt at 3 mana. But best of all, this doesn't encourage a resurrect style of play.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
3 mana 4/7 taunt always a great card and also another way to make control preist anoying to play against
TOTAL CORRUPTION
TOTAL POWAAAAAAA
Seems like a generally strong card. Very easy to corrupt, especially if you get a discount on it with Insight, maybe Discount Tempo Priest becomes meta?
delay a turn by playing a higher cost card to get a 4/7... worth it.
Inverse Injured Blademaster, but it has taunt, it is pretty huge impact even on turn 5
I am envoy from nowhere in nowhere. Nobody and nothing have sent me. And even though it is impossible I exist. ©Trimutius
This is good, you can skip a few turns and take damage if necessary, I mean, you are priest.
Guys, remember Hired Gun? Yeah, me neither.

Its not really comparable to Injured Blademaster. If you're playing this card in your deck, then its likely some form of tempo priest, which means the follow up on 4 is likely Psychopomp. Bringing this back on its base form isn't really a good result compared to injured blademaster.
There's also another problem which is what card will be used to corrupt this one? Far as I know the best card is either psychopomp (which will end up bringing back something else other than this) or Cobalt Spellkin. A bit too slow for my taste.
Its a decent card I grant you. But I'd still go for blademaster over this, if at all.
A lot of stats for just 3 Mana if you just manage to get it corrupted. The meta will likely decide if that's allowed to happen often enough.
Pretty strong, and with all the mana discounts priest is getting, I'm sure it'll see play.
Just remember how Kripp got rekt by this card on stream :D
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
I somehow got the feeling that this will be an annoying card to play against ...
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
Seems pretty good. Decent stats Uncorrupted, and when corrupted it's really annoying to get rid off. Y'Shaarj, the Defiler priest will certainly run it.
Standard: Strong in control priests. Also good in Y'Shaarj, the Defiler priest. Ress is probably not running it, because it wants to only ress the most annoying cards possible. (Khartut Defender and Convincing Infiltrator. Thank Yogg those 2 rotate next expansion.)
Wild: I don't see this getting too much play. It just doesn't really fit in an already established deck. (That i can think off...)
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
One of the best flavor texts of the set.
These Corrupt cards live and die by how easy they are to Corrupt. This card is quite bad in base form, but it's extremely good when Corrupted. As a Priest, you are likely to be able to Corrupt cards easier than most other classes. Play something (not sure what) on turn 4, and this on turn 5 with something else seems decent to me. It's also a good Taunt minion for Y'Shaarj Priest since you will want a Taunt after spending 10 mana.
Injured Blademaster can be a 3 mana 4/7 on turn 3. THis guy can only be that on turn 5+, where 4/7s fall more in line with the size of minions being played. Now don't get me wrong, Fairground Fool still looks like an amazing card, it's just not as game breaking as it looks though.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
turn 5 4/7 taunt seems great granted you just have to play a 4 mana prior
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
As I've said with other corrupt cards, stat benefits with corrupt cards fall off quick in terms of relevance if you can't play it corrupted as early as possible. This is the same case for Fairground Fool, as I think you'd rather have a card like Convincing Infiltrator for a taunt on turn 5 instead as Infiltrator doesn't demand another card to be played, and is a more consistent top deck.
For glory, honor, and gold!
This card is VERY strong. i played priest in Duels and got 4 of these, and it was VERY prevalent.
Living like that.
Seems alright in highlander/midrange priest. I like it.

This is gonna be one of the overrated cards of the expansion, I am pretty sure of it.
Cannot be played corrupted on curve, so... which deck this belongs to?
-=alfi=-
Not as crazy early game as it seems, because of the need to corrupt, but the strength of this card lies in it having enough stats to be a threat through into the late game, when Priest can drop it to protect their big threats and combo enablers like Sethekk Veilweaver, without spending much of their mana to do so.
~ An expertly disguised dinosaur
A lot of comparison to Injured Blademaster, but the deck that runs Injured Blademaster, wouldn't want to run this. That deck wants to get a big minion out early, and this is a small minion until too late in the game (for that deck). For regular Control Priest however, this will have a home.
Needs the Corruption to be worth it, I think. Priest certainly has the stalling ability to make it happen, but does it really matter that much once you get it online? It looks amazing, but I worry it might end up playing a bit too clunky.
Welcome to the site!
Not terrible, but you rarely drop it un-corrupted.
This one looks destined to become the next frustrating priest card. The corrupt requirement is simple enough and even the normal statline can help against aggro decks.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
3 mana 4/8, now where did i hear this one before
All hail the banshee queen.
This card is not bad, especially with the new mana reducing cards priest has gotten.
Decent on curve (though you'd prefer the stats flipped in that case), stronger still when Corrupted.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Cheap Corrupt minion, meaning that it's more likely it gets Corrupted and gets Corrupted early. Once Corrupted, this is just a pile of stats and a headache for aggressive decks to get through (while being a meaningful threat to other control decks). It likely wants to be in a control deck that has an on-curve play for turn 4 (and the lack of those sorts of plays for Priest might actually be the thing that keeps this on the sidelines).
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
Priest doesn't have problem playing slow so, that card can be good.
By The Holy Light!
Reasonably easy to corrupt, hard to remove, annoying to be revived, strong synergy with other priest cards. Will probably see play.
Insane stats if you manage to corrupt it, which should be pretty easy to do
Vary good stat line if it gets corrupted
