I was expecting a new corrupt card for priest after seeing that card on promotional video. But no one is revealed.
Priest loves to play slow cards and that allows you to get 7 mana clowns or 1 mana fool. Time will tell us if is enought to be good, I'll test It for sure.

I really love the design of this card. Been wanting to play ysharaaj priest for some time, but kept getting curb stomped so I lost hope.
This card rekindles that hope, from a hopeless candle, to a slightly less hopeless candle. Its good, but I'm afraid that priest draw being shit and the fact that yshaaraj priest is still going to get destroyed by warlock, this will only be a small bandaid on an open wound.
Still, I'm open to tanking my win rate, so that's my go to deck after the mid set comes in.

As someone who really tried making Corrupt priest work, this is fantastic. Corrupt priest ALWAYS had 1 big problem: Corrupting their cards. Seriously even with so many expansive cards in their deck you just seem unable to corrupt most of them. But with a 2 mana discount it makes it a lot more manageable. The only fear i have for this card is that it will be a worse Frizz Kindleroost. Frizz has the upside of working with all dragon tribe minions, and being neutral. But Dark Inquisitor Xanesh only works with Corrupt cards and it's priest only. Also Dark Inquisitor Xanesh has the same problem as Frizz Kindleroost, that being you have to draw him early to get the most benefit from it.
But if Corrupt priest takes of and becomes decent/good i'm glad, because i rather face off against corrupt priests than against ress priest. Also corrupt priest is a lot of fun to play, so that's another reason why i hope it gets bit better. (Whoah Priest and "fun" in one sentence, that's rare.)
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.

I want to like this card so much.... Every time I get the Corrupt quest, I go immediately to Priest to build a deck since it feels like it has the best synergy with it. I just don't see Corrupt Priest being a really heavy hitter and it sucks because I REALLY WANT TO LIKE IT
This looks amazing. Not OP, necessarily, but the value is insane. It hits both hand and deck!

I want this card to be good. The corrupt mechanic is a cool idea that hasn't turned out well yet. I just hope the Priest+neutral corrupt cards package makes for a viable deck.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
