  • I think that the change this got was necessary and optimal for the Rogue class.  Rogue likes to hit a lot, Warrior likes to just hit hard.  So the reduction in the damage the weapon deals makes sense.

  • This buff is incredible, without adding buffs to it from other cards this just hits for 10.

  • Seems good now, but it does have to compete against Self-Sharpening Sword. Unfortunatly i don't think Assassin's Blade will see play, unless Self-Sharpening Sword gets nerfed.

RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.

luckily Self-Sharpening Sword will almost certainly be nerfed

    It was awful.

I certainly hope it does. :)

Don't bet on it. Assassin's blade has a 10 damage total output compared to SSS which incidentally has the same damage output. The difference is 1 mana. So how would team5 nerf this card without completely making it redundant? I mean, if SSS was 4 mana now its literally just assassin's blade

Well, SSS does hit that 10 damage 1 swing faster than Assassin's Blade, making it better for aggresive decks, and SSS scales better with buffs. (Specificly with +durability buffs from Doctor Krastinov) Actually the choise of which is better actually kinda depends on what game plan you have: SSS is better in Aggresive decks, Assassin's Blade is better in control/value decks because they can trade 1 more time. I still like the Assassin's Blade buff and i hope it sees play!
