New Neutral Minion - Alexstrasza the Life-Binder

This is a really roundabout way to just say "Deal 8 Damage to an enemy or restore 8 to a friendly character"

So....this is like Inner Demon, except better.  It's 1 more mana, but you get an 8/8 for it, it's not blocked by taunt, and is flexible if you need the self healing.  Remind me again what the core set was supposed to achieve?

I think it's their attempt to bring back clarity by differentiating from choose one effects and just being unambiguuous in general (your way could also imply a random effect).

As per usual their attempt to make the game easier to understand make things harder overall, but I still appreciate the effort

I really like this new take on Alex. I suppose she's intended to be the modernized version of the old Alex into combo finisher for control decks...except now she's just the finisher..and sometimes she saves your life.

Probably not gonna be in a lot of decks, but maybe something like Warrior or Warlock like it for the flexibility.

Really, I#m just glad the old Alex is gone so maybe we can  get some actual finishers that can be played around.

Seems really good as a finisher in control decks, and maybe a few midrange decks might want it? Aggro certainly doesn't considering they want to end the game before then. The new alexstrasza is still a big nerf compared to old Alexstrsza, but this is better for the health of the game.

Its good, but since its not better than Ysera, its too little healing too late, and its too slow for aggro, its just going to be in midrange decks that for some reason have to play dragons.

Edit: I should perhaps add that rogue is the best class to make use of this version of Alex, priest being perhaps second best class to use her. Mostly because rogue can't heal and has shadowstep, and priest can cheapen dragons and usually in need for finishers more so than other classes. I still think Ysera is the better card, but it might be meta dependent.

Wow i realy like this Rework. Good for different situations - need Heal , ok cool  - need Damage ... also cool :)

That it can remove a big enemy minion threat is great, nice change.

This is way better than the old Alexstrasza. Very versatile because it can target minions, making it a decent removal tool. So many uses for this card, just a wonderful update on the Life-Binder.

Versatile cards usually saw play and that one can be a finisher dealing 8 damage to enemy face.

I Hope that blizz print more dragons, dragon priest was my favourite midrange deck ever and the new Alexs could fit perfectly.

I don't think this is a nerf. Damage wise your opponent would have to have 24 life or more for the old alex to be better. And similarly you would have to have 6 life or less for the old one to heal you more. Old alex could potentially be more efficient, but this one is simply more reliable in what it does. It is more useful in more scenarios. Plus, you can target minions in addition to heroes which gives it even more uses.

I feel glad that Control Warrior will play both Alex and Ysera without thingking, just like the old GvG days  lol. Maybe even Grom, because Grom benefit alot from new Ysera so you can expect burst for 14 from him 100% of the time now

I love the new artwork.  Although 8 damage to the face, but man that ability sucks by comparison.
