How good is Mythgard?

I am a Hearthstone player since Beta.
I had tried Gwent once, but it "didn't work between us."
I loved the physical Magic but didn't try the electronic version too much.
I don't have too much time during the day to play.
So, is Mythgard worth it? How does it compare to Hearhtstone?

This section of the forums is basically dead, so ...
Thanks for helping keep it that way with helpful comments like this.
Hi, Zebulun, i dont play Mythgard myself, but i will talk to Nirast, our resident expert on Mythgard, so he can pop-in and give you some answers. In the meantime, feel free to browse through the Mythgard portal, where you can also find codes for the Core set to redeem entire sets of cards (offer expires on March 15!), they started to give em away recently to jump-start your collections :)

Mythgard is great, especially if you come from Hearthstone, since there's some similarity in gameplay. IMO.
It's also super easy to get into. After completing the story-tutorial, you can get right into playing the game with the featured decks, community-built decks on a rotation that you can play without owning the cards. Then, once you're comfortable with the game, you can use the free Core Set (4/6 colors unlocked as of writing this) to try your hand at deckbuilding. And the decks you can make are still competitive, and the set is currently 2/3rds the game's card base.
Hope you give the game a shot!
Obviously the best way to figure out if you like the game is to play it. I think the game is a lot of fun. I haven't played it a whole lot, but the progression seems good with plenty of ways to earn gold. The gameplay hit a nice middle ground in terms of complexity and strategy. It isn't as much of a headache as Magic, but it is also a lot more complex than Hearthstone. There is enough strategy involved that it feels very rewarding to make good plays, but at times there can be a lot of stuff to consider and mistakes are pretty common when you start out.
Give it a shot and see how you like it. It is free and there are currently only 3 sets of cards (one of which is free, as Sinti mentioned). What have you got to lose?
Carrion, my wayward grub.
I had tried it and really enjoyed playing before the expansions hit. Life got in the way, and I realized that there was just no way I could keep up with Hearthstone Runeterra, and Mythgard. I chose the former two and stopped playing. In some ways I regret not continuing with Mythgard as it had more nuanced game play.
Overall, I think hearthstone is the weakest of the 3 games, but I'm a sucker for battlegrounds and spend time in their game because of it. I think Mythgard has great lore that they seem to be really leveraging that. I'd put the strategy level you be similar to Runeterra (significantly higher than Hearthstone) with a lot fewer random effects.
Definitely give it a try and watch some streamers to get some understanding. I think after 2-3 hours of game play you'll have a good idea of whether you'll like the style or not.
Thank you all for your comments and insights, I will give it a try and see what I feel about it,

I think this is a valid criticism. If you went to Steam to buy a multiplayer game, and all the reviews said there is no one online you should consider that when making your purchase. The game might not last another year.

The MtGA section of the forums is also pretty dead, and that game is far from dead. I think... Mythgard also has a very dedicated Discord community, so if someone has an issue, they'd just go there. Not sure how true that is for the other games.
Right now it's an odd period. Everyone is waiting for the last two codes to drop, but wait time seems to be pretty good for ranked, so I'd say the community is pretty active.
When I made my post, it had been months since the last activity. This remains the ONLY active thread in the past three months.
So yes, I do think that says something about the game, but I was more implying that a dead forum might not be the best place to get information or opinions about a given topic.
As for sinti's "helping keep it that way" ... please. If people wanted to post about Mythgard here, they'd do so, regardless of my snarky opinions.
I would like to actually apologize for posting my own reply. I had not noticed that I necro'd this thread until you made this statement.
