I'm glad to see more multi-target effects in Hearthstone from Goliath, Sneed's Masterpiece. The Vol'jin BG heropower felt clean and glad they're continuing to adapt it.
Really cool effect. But most games are over by turn 8, so do you want a 8 drop that has a potential board clear effect? Pretty sure you don't. I bet this would have been "BROKEN OP" during the Dr. Boom, Mad Genius Days in Rise of Shadows. This is literally a legendary card created only for swing turns in arena.
Also remember: Varian, King of Stormwind is an 8/8 minion that draws 3 cards, AND has taunt rush and divine shield yet sees only play in paladin. (Because it's too slow for other archetypes) so how could Goliath, Sneed's Masterpiece see play? I don't see it, despite how badly i want to see it getting played often outside of arena...
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
So first of all: Tech has evolved. This proves that multi-target is now a possibility without RNG which opens up a lot of design space (I smell a future keyword).
Second: This is actually good. Slow, but good. This is a fantastic Control board swing that allows you to deal with a lot of board states without having to rely on RNG, which is massive. Sure, control might have a hard time at the moment, but that could always be subject to change (and will change by next year)
Also, sick with the Shaman Parrot.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Weird card, the meta is too fast for a 8 mana board clear.

Its good in a meta that plays minions, but more interesting is how the UI would work, because this could easily be an entire expansion by itself. We'll have to see how well team5 have built it, but impressive it is both in its keyword and design.
But as with most 8 mana cards, its really dependent on the meta, because if Illidari Inquisitor got bumped out of standard, then what chances are there for other 8 mana minions?
8 for an 8/8 that deals 10 damage right out the gate... pretty solid.
I honestly thought we would never see a multi-target effect. I wonder what UI they came up with that's mobile friendly. I guess I'll have to go to YouTube and find out.
Seems solid but to slow for the meta right now - still could be abused with ramp - and it is a mech so you could bring him back with N'zoth!
