  • This is...kinda bad. I guess it works in Token Demon hunter, but it's not a permanent buff meaning that if you're in a matchup where your tokens don't get to attack this is a huge waste.

I guess it functions as a 2-mana boardwide buff at the very least. Will have to see how they try to push this archetype.

  • Great card for aggresive DH decks, and good for Token DH if that deck gets good support. If im right it also works immediately, so you could use it as some kind of finisher? Seems solid.

  • Constructed: It's a Savage Roar that costs one less and gives one less attack, but lasts 2 turns longer. Savage Roar was sometimes used as a board clear, but most of the times functioned as a finisher. I feel like Field of Strife should be used as both at the same time. It's a board clear in the first turn(s) of the effect and a finisher in the later turn(s) and should be combined with cards like Expendable Performers and Command the Illidari. I guess that's the idea. I'm doubtful it'll work out.

Arena: Probably worse than Savage Roar. That does not make it unplayable, but should only be drafted in a deck that already has some synergy.

  • It's like a mini Savage Roar for tempo DH, but we haven't seen that deck for quite a while. Its viability will very much depend on further card reveals that push aggressive strategies.

  • Field of Strife might be a solid card for a token DH, and even if it's not big enough as a finisher it's honestly pretty interesting so long as there's enough Illidari generation tools available.

  • This is garbage. I'm not sure I'd even play this at 1 mana. Maybe there's support out there, but as it is, this is a no go.

  • Its 2 mana to do more damage on board. But its unmistakably support for token dhunter. Play this and at any point of time your tokens will do a good deal of damage, so what's there not to like? Even a +1 attack shouldn't be snuffed at, that's basically what Voidtouched Attendant was doing before shadow priest got nerfed.

But if token dhunter or aggro dhunter is bizarrely too slow for the meta then this card may not see play at all. But it'll not be for the lack of power, that's for sure.

  • Token DH has never really been a thing, and I don't think this will make it any better than Tier 4. Maybe if Aggro DH gets some more powerful early minions, this could make the cut? Probably not going to see play.

  • I'm really not impressed with this latent spell. Unless there is going to be more support of a minion based approach for DH, this is Arena fodder

  • This landmark is probably one of the weaker ones, along side Snowfall Graveyard. If aggro DH wanted extra attack, they play other proactive cards than 2 mana Sow the Soil

  • Doesn't look like the support token DH needs. Sure, the extra damage is nice for trading and finishing, but it's very reliant on cards that use the attack buff for more than just trading (like a Meanstreet Marshal kind of card).

  • Doesn't seem horrible. If your stuff gets cleared, you get another chance to build a board and attack before the buff wears off.

  • I could see this used as swing turns, combined with countless rush-token, helping to stabilize and gain board control.
But for it to act as good as Savage Roar once was, you would need a steady board already - and one that can survive 2-3 turns to allow for your final push, which may sound a little too idealistic/optimistic - it is a tad too predictable

  • Should I play this or Knife Juggler, I’m leaning towards Knife Juggler.

  • This is just kinda bad.  Maybe it can see some play with rush guys, but I just don't think it does enough to be worth 2 mana.

  • Definitely one of the weaker and also most uninspiring designed landmark card we've seen so far.

  • It's sad that this place got that kind of treatment. Killing people in Field of Strife was always the funniest part of this bg, at least before you got to the bridge.

  • Im not feeling it. Aggro DH wants to play a minion. This isn't a finisher. Maybe it's played with a board to push damage, then there's some Kayn Kor'vas shenanigans, but all of that seems weak.

  • This card obviously telegraphs to your opponent that they need to clear the board this turn, but they also need to clear the board every turn for the next three. It will be a nice face off to see if the clears can match the refills on consecutive turns. Also, it isn't a sigil, so you could play both on one turn.

  • Useful for getting the board from opponent, if you manage to clear on the first turn and leave some tokens can be used as a finisher too

  • Actually looks better during the Theory crafting stream, especially with all the 1/1 Illidaris that Demon Hunter has.

  • Feels alright, but also like it doesn't have enough of an impact. Maybe I'm just not seeing the deck that gets built to truly take advantage of this though, where you cna consistently swarm each turn if you need to after a clear.

  • Good card actually… for Duels. Combined with the token hero power. Other than that probably not good enough for constructed.

  • Given that it's really cheap, I can see it being played in more aggressive decks. Amazing with this like Expendable Performers and such.
