I'm torn on this one. It's 2 more mana than Holy Smite, but if you kill it exactly as such, you get a 3/3 copy of the minion. I am more looking at this being used defensively when your obsidian statue only has 3 health left, hit it with this, kill an opponent's minion, get another 3/3 lifestealing, minion killing pain in the ass to resurrect later.
Bonus points if this plays Dueling Banjos when cast though...
Rattlegore. The 3 damage breakpoint is a pretty good one for these Honorable Kill cards, and getting a free 3/3 to boot is nice, even better with a strong effect. Can't wait to see the videos of using this to kill something like Arcanist Dawngrasp (or similar), then getting to play it via Raise Dead.
I could see this being use, just for the sake of the value it may generate. And like mention earlier in the thread, a defensive play to trigger some deathrattle is not to be excluded

Whenever it works, its amazing. But when it doesn't work you're just screwed by 2 mana.
For that reason, its likely only ever coming out via discover.
There is a small niche it has over Holy Smite, which is to technically double your deathrattle value, for a late game Xyrella push. This does conveniently kill Shadowed Spirit, and will summon another one out. Maybe that's where this card is heading towards.
In Arena this is one of those very fun gambling cards you can add to your deck. No one alive can blame you for picking it because it can easily pay off well.
3 mana deal 3 summon a (hopefully) good 3/3 is superb. Just be ready that this just ain't gonna happen a lotta times. I'll still draft it cuz it's fast and fun!

I really like this card, coz most times, you'll get a good minion with an effect attached to it. You obviously want to trigger the honorable kill effect or this would just be a much worse Holy Smite. This spell might even be good in the new deathrattle priest, as getting a copy of your opponents deathrattle minion would be good on most occasions.

That is pretty powerful if you can pull it off consistently (and Priest has a bunch of ways to manipulate health). Even if it doesn't end up in the main deck it will show up from discovers.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
The main thing I can see is a thrice as expensive Holy Smite, which doesn't make me very excited. However, I can see some fringe situations where this can be very powerful. I feel like these situations are too fringe to justify putting this in my deck though.
I'll be glad to generate this during a game from one of Priest's many discovers/spell generators, but whether or not it actually goes in the deck will depend a lot on the metagame. Against an aggro deck this could be very valuable as a way to fight back against their board, but in a slower metagame I don't think it's good enough.
Hmm so this is a better Initiation, except it's a holy spell instead of a shadow spell. And you need to honorable kill something. Probably decent in some priest deck.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
I have no idea if this will be good. There are things you wouldn't mind getting a 3/3 copy of, but it will only work if the target has exactly 3 health remaining.
The flavor text on the card is disappointing, but I know blizzard can't make any references to the film for ...reasons.

I think it's a good card
It feels good although after playing AC:Valhalla Siego of Paris, this will not have best memories associated with it.
I see this mostly as using it to trigger advantageous deathrattles on your own side of the board. There may be occasions where getting a copy of the opponent's minion will also be desirable.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
Much better Initiation (though that's not hard,) it seems alright for holding off board aggression if you can get the Honor Kill consistently, and also as a sneaky way garner extra value out of your own Deathrattle minions.
Also ranking this at 3 stars seemed pretty appropriate.

Cheaper Initiation, except you have to hit that HK to get the copy. It's cheap enough that you can find places to weave it in and get that trigger to go off, so I think this should be a pretty good card for whatever Priest decks decide to run it.

This is one of the Honorable Kill cards where not getting that perfect hit means you've wasted so much mana. Fine to Discover, probably not worth it to run.

Potentially a very good card, but requires some setup to make it happen. Probably not good enough to run it, but when discovered it should be situationally a exceptional card.
A strong card with a really nice effect, but probably only going to see play when discovered. It's just a little too situational to warrant a spot in a deck.
