New Druid Minion - Frostsaber Matriarch

That's a pretty strong follow up after Glowfly Swarm and just generally supports beast builds...but we still need some sort of payoff because just running medium-sizeed beasts is only going to keep you in the game for about 4 turns.

I think that alone this card is amazing.  I am confused though as they are a few cost reducing cards for Druid, but have been given and still maintain a lot of ramping abilities.  The strategies seem counterintuitive 

Arena: Only draftable if you have plenty of beasts in your deck already.

Constructed: Ugh, more token support. Let's hope this fits better into Beast Druid. Crazy good if the cost gets reduced as fast as Corridor Creeper. That also counted enemy minions, yet Frostsaber Matriarch does not have to be in hand.

Good in token Druid i guess? Especially after Glowfly Swarm. Frostsaber Matriarch might still see play, even if the other beast druid cards are bad. Also Frostsaber Matriarch gets reduced in cost while its in your deck which is really good.

Mana cheat is strong, but it feels like it comes online too slowly. Only viable combo I see is with Glowfly Swarm, but that deck doesn't want many minions so don't feel like it makes the cut.

Reminds me of Corridor Creeper with a different trigger. This will quickly costs 0 mana most games and it has synergies with other Beast effects.

Keyword here is summoned, which means it works with Glowfly Swarm, Adorable Infestation, and Thorngrowth Sentries, all of which are featured cards in token druid.

Its decently stated, have taunt, is a beast, and more importantly it supports an archetype that's not meta at the moment. I would say that its a card for a healthy deck, unlike the usual druid madness of drawing one card and win.

Synergizes with Oracle of Elune once you've summoned enough Beasts. Druid already plays Druid of the Reef, Encumbered Pack Mule, and Vibrant Squirrel, so it's not too much of a stretch to imagine this in an Aggro Druid deck.

Druid already has a couple of cheap beasts to summon. Also, Frostwolf Kennels.

I guess this could be good if beast Druid is good. You'd probably want to reduce this to at least 3 mana.

Anything with cost reduction is worth thinking about, and because this is a summon trigger it could be particularly powerful with Vibrant Squirrel and Frostwolf Kennels. Toss in Wickerclaw and Park Panther and you could have the makings of a very strong Beast/Token deck.

Your comment had me re-read the card text - the confirmation that it was "beasts summoned" and not "played" is the saving grace of this design - indeed a great follow up for Glowfly Swarm

One of the "beast package" minions that will only see play if midrange beast druid is any good. Definitely likely to get this beast to zero mana in a dedicated deck but also might see play during evolve effects. You ideally want 4 beasts to have died already, so it costs 3 mana minimum. Any larger and you'd be better off playing something else.

More beast/token support...

Pretty nasty card in a deck bult around beast synergies that druid received plenty of. They are going back and forth with it. Beast/Treant/RandomType.

There's always a bit of scariness for when cards can be reduced down to 0, but honestly, I don't think that any of the beast druid support cards we've seen push far enough.  For a finisher for a beast druid type deck, this really doesn't seem to be that great.  I think I would just rather play token druid.

Do you pair this with the legendary for extra beasts? Beast druid has tried and muddled through for a bit. There are a few other beast support cards in this expansion so maybe this makes it in.

Amazing in Beast and even Token decks, but it does feel like the overall Beast support has been all journey and no destination for the most part.

With all the beast support it cuold be summoned for free on turn 6, very strong imho

Corridor Creeper with Taunt seems good, and gets discounted in the deck.

Thing from Below but for Beast synergy.

Not sure if beast Druid will be good, but it still seems like a pretty decent card, even for decks that only run a handful of beasts.
