Had a feeling this suspiciously HQ artwork wasn't going to be exclusive to Mercenaries.
Question is, is this actually good? Paladin has a wide variety of holy spells and I can't think of too many that I'd go out of my way to get extra copies of. Might be better post rotation to fill the mana gap left after all the Librams and other staples rotate.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
This is the kind of extremely powerful card that contributes to the overall brokenness of the Paladin class. People will underestimate it because it looks so harmless, but it's pretty much autoinclude.
Currently its not really that good. Or at least I should say it isn't good enough to ram itself into established decks.
Libram pally would be better served just playing those librams in the deck, and if they needed a clear option like Equality etc. it would still be better to just include that into your deck instead of this card, because discover or no, its still a gamble. The holy pool in pally isn't really that small it turns out, and there are genuine duds, like the many secrets.
Control pally doesn't exist currently, the best archetype in my opinion for this card to thrive. Maybe post rotation?
Hmm not that good right now, but after rotation it might be pretty good in slower paladin decks. Paladin has a bunch of holy spells, and after rotation the pool will be a bit smaller, and we all know how strong certain discover cards can be if there is a smaller card pool to discover from. Just look at Deeprun Engineer that one time in Arena discovering Goliath, Sneed's Masterpiece almost every time. Still the holy spell pool will be a bunch bigger than Engineers one, but still don't underestimate cards with these kinds of effects when there is a smaller pool of cards.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Not bad, not too good. Could be good if you don't WANT to include some holy spells in your deck and you and hopefully dice roll into it

There's a pretty good amount of holy paladin spells. Not sure which of them aren't good enough to include in your decklist but still good enough to get off discover.
