Current trend of Deathrattle synergy without any actual Rogue deathrattles: rising
Yeah I don't think this is ever gonna be good even with Preparation in mind. In order for this to work you'd have to build a functional deck that's comprised of mostly deathrattles that is also able to stabilize the early game and I don't see that happening. Even accounting for Shuffle shenanigans (which we're also lacking at the moment) there'd have to be some really insane payoff for this to work.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
I'm now 85 percent certain we're going to see new powerful deathrattles.
name 5 deathrattles rogue could run without this card challenge.

Its almost a cruel joke. Rogue has all these cool deathrattle support cards and no real deathrattles to take advantage of.
On its own merits, this card is terrible. The cost is too high and if you're playing this you're likely filling your deck with deathrattle cards, most of which aren't very good played on its own. And then there's survivability, something which rogues struggle with, and this being an 8 mana card.
Ironically being able to draw 5 cards is also another problem. Since when has rogue ever struggle filling their hand with stuff?
So the first hurdle being good deathrattles, the second being surviving long enough to play this, and now the third: your hand must be 5 or less or this card losses its effectiveness. The only last silver lining for this card is the fact that we can hope and believe that team5 will never print this card unless they properly suspect its going to be at least playable: now, how many times have I said this about deathrattle rogue over the last 3 expansions at this point?
Way too slow AND rogue has no way to really use it in standard. There is only 1 use i cant think of, and thats memey OTKs that Markmckz can do in wild.
The only world where i see this card getting played is if either:
- Rogue will be so starved for draw that they MUST play it. (Possible after expansion, considering most of rogues best draw rotates)
- Lots of support in next expansion
That's it.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
8 mana... Rogue offers so many things, but cheating this out earlier than turn 5 is not realistic
I like the idea behind this card because i played a lot of Deathrattle Rogue the last expansion and it was / is fun but this card seems way to slow ... at least for the amount of deathrattles you can use or not that bad ...
maybe this will rise in an upcoming expansion but right now this looks to slow ....
