Really good defensive tool and a greedy meme-y option for Amulet of Undying.
I LOVE to see how the devs prints value board centric cards another time. More board and less abusive OTK decks, plz.
By The Holy Light!
Amazing minion for any slower priest deck, it's a better and actually usefull Waxadred. Mi'da, Pure Light is a great survival tool, and if Mi'da, Pure Light died multiple times, you can potentially fill the board with copies thanks to Xyrella, the Devout... Actually now that i think about it, Mi'da, Pure Light can fulfill a similar role as Rattlegore as a big wincon for slower/control decks.
Mi'da, Pure Lights reshuffles are cast when drawn, so they don't actually stop fatigue. And Mi'da, Pure Light has no immediate impact when played, because it has no taunt/rush. Which means aggro/midrange decks can either continue going FACE or deal with it. I really like that were getting fair but strong cards like this!
The only problem with Mi'da, Pure Light is that it costs 6 mana, which might be too slow. But that downside can be "negated" with Vanndar Stormpike in Big Deathrattle Control Priest Decks. However Deathrattle/Quest priest is a deck that's right on the edge of becoming a viable meta deck, so maybe Mi'da, Pure Light is the one card the deck needs to become fully viable.
Oh maybe i should also talk about wild. This probably won't see play in wild, because Big priests prefer big taunts/deathrattles that annoy people to death. But i think it might see experimentation in some other kinds of slower priest decks. But even then, 6 mana is expansive in Wild. Yeah i don't think this will see much play in wild.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
I mean...it's not terrible, but man is it slow. It doesn't help you with lethality so you're still dead in the water against any deck with an inevitable win condition (and there's a lot of those right now). It doesn't have taunt so you're not getting any immediate value either. It only really works if you somehow get it out fast against aggressive decks and then continue to resummon it after they deal with it (if they can even deal with it without silence).
Honestly I don't feel it compares favorably to Lightshower Elemental, as weird as that sounds.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
No taunt, no rush, and then it costs 6 - OooErr
Yes it does have lifesteal and divine shield, but played on 6 your opponent can just completely ignore it and go ruin your face. And if they can't ignore it, then its healing you for 8 minimum. Wouldn't you be better served just playing Lightshower Elemental instead, for the same cost, same healing, but has an additional taunt.
It does have a small niche in that you can copy it and shuffle multiple midas back to your deck, but since you can only drop this on turn 6, how many midas do you think you'll ever be drawing?
I think that this will be splashed into most quest priests. a 4/6 Lifestealing minion that keeps coming back is something that not a lot of decks want to see. Especially with a control class like Priest.
Well this will defenitely see play! Either in Quest Priest, Deathrattle Priest or maybe even some Control Lists. I think this card will be very annoying if not silenced - at least has lots of potential to do so :)
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
Might be some decent healing. Mostly because if it dies it comes back if you draw the Fragment.
