Only good on curve if you cast a spell turn 1, but still good later if you can't play it on 2. Wildfire Mage should like this, it's great spell generation and curves after turn 1 Wildfire (if you are so lucky). Should be really good this expansion because lower spell pool, but might just be too generic later on.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Amazing minion. It generates a card, but also needs you to cast a spell when it's sitting in your hand. Basically delayed discover. I honestly like it. It makes it so you need to work for that value, and even then a 2 mana 2/3 is still premiumly statted so it's not that bad to play it without the battlecry. Also it's a naga, so that might have some synergy that has yet been revealed.
It's also really good after a turn 1 Wildfire or that other 1 mana fire spell. Honestly this seems solid. Not "op af" or anything, but just solid.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Well 2/3 for 2 is not bad and it can generate a card ... so will say this one is good!

Discover a spell for mage is always an auto include. Quest Mage might even be forced to run some minions for once, that will be a sight.
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Its honestly going to be competing for a spot with Venomous Scorpid for the generation role, because at very least that card is a soft taunt and comes with no conditions albeit at a higher mana cost of 1.
I suppose mage would still be playing this because they'd be losing two really good early game generators in Wandmaker and Wand Thief, so if generation is the game this one will take it if only because you can easily play both this and scorpid in the same deck.
There is one drawback though; its a minion. And far as team5 has shown, they'd really love shoving spell mage down our throats. So fingers crossed that there's no more siphon manas, incanter's flow, or cram session down the pipeline or like every other minion in mage, it can sit on the sidelines dreaming only of what could be.
My only question would be if it retains the ability if you cast a spell and then it either goes to your deck or you summon it on a later turn
Cheap, valuable, and easy to trigger - I assume this will see play.
Rotation will also create a need for novelty to some of the 1, 2 and 3 drops, so this might be a new staple ?

I don't think I can complain about extra card generation, though pretty lackluster if you don't play a spell first while holding this. Though this is a Mage card, so I'm not sure that will be much of a problem.
Could be a good minion for Naga-centric decks, feeding the fire of spells for your other naga. I don't think we see this in just any deck, though.

Just a solid building block for Naga mage. Maybe sees play elsewhere in the future, but seems good as is.
