If you can get The Coin
Mr. Smite + 2x The Garden's Grace + Faceless Manipulator (if still at core set) for a 32 otk dmg from hand.
Blizz said that they will reduce the otk viability, so i hope that they don't include faceless on the set.
By The Holy Light!
While it depends entirely on the amount of playable holy spells....man is this strong. Only bad thing is that it bricks your hand if you get it early but it becomes really nuts in the late game.
I mean...Mr. Smite is still in Standard and this can cost 0. Need I say more?
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Wow ... this looks very strong. But it depends on how many good holy spells we will have in standard. The more good / playable holy spells we get the more dangerous this one is going to be!
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
Probably going to see play if nothing else because it has the potential to be 0 mana. Fact is that even two of these is enough to do 10 damage out of nowhere, and for paladin this is fairly significant, because traditionally paladin has lots of trouble ending games.
Just jam a deathrattle or stealth minion and there you go. With cards like Battleground Battlemaster, you can legit setup lethal with nothing more than a Worgen Infiltrator that stuck for a turn.
But we'll have to see what other holy spells paladin gets. They are after all losing most of their best holy spells post rotation, so the prospect of the first copy of this card being 0 mana is kinda slim if Im honest.
Considering that Shirvala was "expensive" and more often than not cheated out for (almost) free, this will also have massive discount that will swing the late games.
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
This card is absolutely INSANE. Thanks yogg Lady Liadrin is rotating.
So this seems VERY strong alongside [Hearthstone Card (Kotari Lightblade) Not Found] and i bet paladin will also get a lot more big spells.
In standard this will 100% see play in some kind of midrange/control-ish paladin deck.
In wild this is absolutely nuts. Librams are in wild, AND on top of that there are a LOT of holy spells. This will 100% see play in a bunch of paladin decks.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
I have to wonder how easy this will be to make free. Paladin definitely has a lot of Holy spells, so I doubt heavily discounting this will be a problem. I'm not sure, but I guess 3-4 mana is where you'd want this card to be at the maximum. Blessing of Authority is 5-mana, but it also prevents the target from attacking heroes the turn it's played.
thank the gods that the librams are leaving the meta. This with Lady Liadrin and Co would be just another reason to NOT want to play against Paladin. All it's missing is lifesteal
Well this spell paired with Kotori Lightblade would be scary. And if I'm reading it correctly, if you play Immortalized in Stone for eg, this would become 3 mana?
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
So this is pretty good, the only trouble is running enough other Holy Spells to get its Cost down to manageable. That being said, we've seen Blessing of Authority see a lot of play in decks, and if you're able to have enough other Holy spells then this will likely be a good way to get a beat-stick and hammer your opponent's face in. Battleground Battlemaster, welcome back to Paladin.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
Phew, good thing Charge is mostly extinct, otherwise we'd be in trouble from Paladin suddenly killing us from hand!
...
"ALL HANDS ON DECK!!!"
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Extremely powerful enabler for crazy OTKs. Wild beware!
