New Hunter Minion - Azsharan Saber

I love this for its potential in Vanndar Beast hunter, but I'm not sure if it isn't too awkward. If the Hunter Dredge card is good this could be nuts, but if it isn't...

Great deck thinning and beast summons

I like Beasts with Rush and meaningful Deathrattles, so I know I'm going to give this a go. Hunter doesn't yet have their Dredge card, but I imagine they've got to have one. How good (and/or cheap) it is might change how well this card plays, but right now I'm dreaming up all the ways to get big Beasts into play thanks to the Sunken Saber.

I really want to like this card. But I have to admit that its not very good. The stats are subpar, and the sunken beast stats is also subpar. The only saving grace is that the sunken beast will summon any beast, not limited by anything, which means you can literally get King Krush out on turn 6 at the earliest.

But of course...this card being a beast itself means you're likely to 50-50 yourself into summoning the same 4 mana 3/3 from your deck as well. So rather than king krush it is entirely possible that both the setup and payoff suck, which makes this card unplayable. Playing this card also means you're not playing vanndar, the best card of the archetype we have now. So Im not optimistic to say the least.

The one niche it has is that its a deathrattle, which means your Stormpike Battle Ram does cheapen it and the sunken beast. And you can put a bunch of Sunken Sabers down, use finley and use them all immediately the next turn.

Edit: Thinking about this for some time. You can actually chain summon both the second copy and sunken copy all in the same turn. So there's some hope for this card after all. Deal somewhere around 6-9 damage and summon a big boy out. Why not? Even if you have to give vanndar up for it. Perhaps Im underestimating this card.

Good for BIG Hunter and a potential Deathrattle hunter deck. It also has a deathrattle itself, so you can mana cheat a bit thanks to Stormpike Battle Ram. It looks like both deathrattle and BIG hunter are really getting pushed thanks to Altarac/Altarac mini-set and now they continue pushing it in Voyage, which i like! I would LOVE to see a different hunter deck than SMOrc hunters for once. (With SMOrc hunters i mean both FACE Hunter and Quesltine Hunter, cuz both only go face.)

Also we haven't seen the Hunter Collosal minion yet, but i feel like it might be some kind of deathrattle hunter/BIG Hunter support. Also we haven't seen the Hunter Dredge card yet.

The sunken token looks a lot weaker than other sunken cards to me. Maybe Beast Hunter would still like it, but this looks like a normal card, not something you should need to fish out from the bottom of your deck.

Seems decent but i guess only for Big Hunter ... otherwise i do not see this beeing played. 

A rush deathrattle minion seems like an upside, as it is easier to trigger, but the Sunken Saber is ... kinda not worth it, as it makes the whole thing way too slow to be effective. Think I might be missing something here, or it is a slow build-up where it'll be relevant 2-3 expansions from now?

Strong support for Beast Hunter, however, there arne't that many large beasts you would want to pull out, expecially because this has Anti-synergy with Hydralodon.  Also a rare understated sunken minion, which doesn't give me hope.

Probably too slow for Big Beast Hunter considering they already have Vanndar Stormpike

This isn't Big Beast support! It's Saber support! I WILL MAKE AN INFINITE AMOUNT OF 3/3s THAT CAN NEVER DIE IN A WAY THAT MATTERS!!!

It doesn't seem bad, but I don't see where it'd fit in current Hunter decks. Maybe a more beast oriented deck will be on the rise soon?
