Well this could fit into token beast druid but doubt that archetype will be doing a lot of dredging. I don't see this fish getting larger than 5/7 but it is somewhat an anti-fatigue minion.
I remain optimistic, considering it's 1 mana
1 mana 1/3 beast with an upside can see play in a aggro, beast or token druid.
We need to see the core set to know what archetypes are playables.
It's Beast 1-drop with Drek'thar synergy and vanilla stats. It probably goes into some Aggro build. Very boring though. Could have given it to Hunter at the very least since Sunscale Raptor didn't work.
Well, Beast 1 Drop with Upside should find a way into the meta if Token/Aggro or Beast Druid will be a thing!
Decent 1 drop with a tiny upside that can be buffed by both sides of Azsharan Gardens. Something Druid of the Reef cannot do.
Just don't bet your house that this card would snowball out of control. The amount of things that has to happen before this minnow start gulping down killer whales, you'd have a better chance at having a chess game with a donkey wearing a tie.
Druid's Sunscale Raptor, but this gets a lot better since Dredge exists. If Beast Druid has enough tempo-positive Dredge effects, this can easily be a player in those decks since it has such great synergy with Oracle of Elune. Basically, Beast Druid wants anything to make their Sabretooth cheaper while being a good body on its own, so mission accomplished.
One more thing: this is pretty great for Lady Prestor cheat decks that run a lot of cheap minions to turn into Dragons, since a)It puts a minion back in the deck that can then be turned into another Dragon and b)That Dragon can later be fetched by Aquatic Form following a Prestor transformation.
This looks pretty much like a reprint of Sunscale Raptor for Druid. I think this will probably be better since it doesn't have to survive a hit to trigger, and you can put a few dredge cards in your deck to guarantee you draw the next one. And there's also Abyssal Depths and Capture Coldtooth Mine. But you'll eventually run out of those, and the rest will be stuck at the bottom of your deck, barring any re-shuffling.
It's a cool one drop that fits token-beast-druid's identity to a T. Will most likely only give you one buff, if any, but the fact that it synergizes so well with Sunken Gardens is already justifying its use in a deck.
I think this is to slow, though it does work well withAquatic Form for early tempo plays. Still don't think that's good enough though, you might want better targets for aquatic form.
Hmm 1/3 with a upside seems good, but i'm not sure about it. It both contests and synergyses with the Aquatic Form into Sunken Gardens combo i think, but still Jade Idol in minion form still sounds decent. Hmm, i honestly dont know if this will be broken or mediocre. Of course i dont think this will be a bad card, but i feel like it's just a fair card because of how slow it is and you basically have to pick between dredging Bottomfeeder or Sunken Gardens with Aquatic Form.
Not really sure this is the direction Beast Druid wants to go, even if it's theoretically a persistent threat against Control decks.
Really strong, specially paired with Aquatic Form. It has huge potential, even for more aggressive decks.
