And note that the four “basic totems” are 1-cost minions, so they’ll be buffed by this. Is nice!
That's it, that's the remaining Pirahna support.
Comedy.
Outside of that it's pretty decent. Hard to remove on curve and gives great payoff, but might just be too slow to be relevant.
I don't know if Piranha Shaman will be a thing, but at least it's nice aggro support? I guess?
Oh hi, Swarmer Shaman. Didn't see you there, at the bottom of the dumpster. Don't know why I'd think to look anywhere else, though. This probably isn't good enough to make Swarmers a good deck, but maybe it's good enough to see play in other, actually good, decks.
This card was printed for piranha. Unfortunately, Flametongue Totem is in core. So what is this supposed to do ultimately? Swarm a bunch of 1 drops?
Or are we really entertaining the idea that the fishes will actually survive for more than a turn even after the buff?
Nice Support for Flood Shaman :)
So this can scale nicely with the new Piranha Swarmer tokens that shaman will have in abundance. Also with Bloodlust coming back in the core set, looks like shaman will be pretty board focused if they not just playing freeze/burn shaman
So the piranha stuff gets a pay-off card. Still i'm not convinced. This seems pretty slow for a deck that wants to fill board and Bloodlust to finish the game. And having 2 health piranhas wont save them from the PLENTY of deal 2 dmg board clears still in standard post-rotation.
Wild: This is amazing in Totem shaman and probably might see play in EVEN shaman as well, because it buffs basic totems.
I forget, are the basic totems 1-cost? If so nice. Piranha Swarmers are 1-cost, so this will make them even scarier.
I was wondering what would be the best way to label that kind of deck for shaman - Zoo, Swarm, Fishery maybe? ; I think you nailed it
It seems very out of place. Maybe Shaman will be the new hyper aggressive class? I'm not really seeing it, but it certainly is possible!
