But why?
What purpose does this have?
Silence priest.
Silence any class perhaps. With the addition of Smothering Starfish there's now enough neutral silencing card for everyone.
Considering the silence archetype can brutally punish player that rely heavily on provocation wall (druid in wild for example) and mass-freezing (chaman and mage mainly); maybe there will be a spot for it at some point in the meta.
I tried a silence priest list for a bit this season. It ended up being consistent when played in a very aggressive way (outpacing even Pirate warrior reliably). A 4-ATK / 1-mana drop would definitively fit the smorc battleplan. (but I hate smorc :-( )
Also, it's a beast. So some druid or hunter archetype may find an use to it in a really distant future...
Awfully niche right now.
So this is the 1-drop that Silence Priest wants. Decent combo with Stockades Guard. Also, maybe you put it in a Prestor deck. I don't know, do what you want.
Its just bad, even in silence priest.
You don't want to waste your limited silence cards on stuff like these, and certainly this is not a card you want to see on your topdeck. Basically its so bad that the decision to stick one of cookie's seafood artwork on this thing is completely justified.
The only niche it has is Whispers of the Deep, into swing board on turn 2. But if your opponent cant recover from that combo then they're clearly meming or are a bot. That's all there is to it.
I guess silence priest could use a 1 drop? Hard to tell seeing as the archetype wasn't ever good but I guess we have Smothering Starfish
Silence priest, meh.
I was wondering when we'd see something for those silence cards they printed for Priest. Still doesn't quite look like a real deck though.
Yay... a card that needs an other card to work - think I'll pass
I don't think this is the next Ancient Watcher. Would've preferred it as a 3/4 for Silence Priest for the health buffing.
I guess it's nice for Priest to silence, but I doubt that'll become a thing. Probably won't see any play at all, which is a shame - the art is awesome!
