Mage, Paladin, Druid, DH and Rogue can deal with it just using the hero power.

Its a 2/1 against 50% of the classes... That won't see play in constructed.

I just can't tell whether this is good or not.

On one hand it's nuts if your opponent doesn't have access to an easy ping, but at the same time that kind of effect is just so common in multiple classes.

Against Mage, Paladin, Rogue, Demon Hunter and occasionally regular Hunter this is just terrible. But against everything else it's just garbage.

Not like there are any Elemental decks around either so there's no other uses.

    I tried having fun once.

    It was awful.

    Probably just bad.

If the idea is that this can never take 1 damage without dying, then nearly every ping will kill it, so its useless as a buff target.

So not only is it an unreliable minion for buffing, it only has 2 attack with no other niche available. So why play it at all? unless you're really hammering for a 1 drop elemental.

The only thing worth mentioning about the card would be that its artwork isn't just chopped from battlegrounds, which is astounding, given that this card will very nearly never see any competitive play. Better cards like Shimmering Sunfish or Battle Vicar have to be content while being viable, strong cards.

This seems better then at first sight, if you think about it. It only dies to taking EXACTLY 1 dmg, so most of the time it requires a Mage, Paladin, Rogue and DH to hero power to remove it. And a LOT of 1 mana minions these days have 2 attack, so that also makes Bubbler better. Also its good with silence effects.

I think Bubbler has the potential to be a strong meta card.

RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
