Sounds weird, but powerful. With the new location card you can just plop this on 4, summon a random 5-drop and then they still have to kill this or it will just happen again.
Man, I'm really starting to hate these "lmao, I win" cards.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
This one has potential but only because muck pool is available. Without Muck Pools you're really just hoping it survives a turn so you can do your insane moves, otherwise you'd have to wait until about turn 7 realistically.
The one thing this card has going for it is the fact that it has 6 health, which means your opponent will likely need to throw everything at it to kill. And that alone might be worth inclusion in a deck, whether it actually does those insane turns or not.
Certainly a card with a competitive edge.
This seems pretty good with the new Location card.
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
In wild this turns mutate into a zero mana summon a 5 mana minion, which isn't insane but I could see myself playing it for fun while climbing into legend.
Your face is already dead
There is absolutely nothing bad about waiting until turn 7. The combo with Primoridal Wave (or any other mutate effect) is not inherently worse than the Muck Pools play. Strong deckbuilders include cards all the time with no intention of playing them on curve.
Still, you're realistically going to get to use it about one time, so it's only 4 stars, not 5 like the rest of the cards in the package. It's certainly not the linchpin of the archetype.
I don't know if Evolve Shaman is making a comeback, but this might make Muck Pools pretty good. Especially if it can survive for all three turns.

Very powerful support for evolve shaman, maybe it will be meta, lest's wait to see it
In standard this seems like a pretty decent to strong legendary. This will be a must-include in evolve shaman.
In wild wow this will be pretty good with all the evolve effects in wild. Sure it might be a bit slower of a deck which isn't often that good in wild, but evolve shaman remains a pretty fun deck and it slots right into it. Baroness Vashj + Unstable Evolution seems pretty decent to me.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
I find the push for Evolve shaman to be back in Standard hard to digest, and it isn't light-handed either.
