New Warlock Minion - Imp King Rafaam

If you can drop this on curve it's pretty insane but I'm fairly doubtful that that's going to happen.

Also, how boring to make Rafaam just an imp tamer... although it's interesting that they're finally doing something with Imps specifically instead of just having them appear as trash demons.

If this was a lingering effect likeLightborn Cariel, then it would be amazing.  But since it seems to only give a damn about the ones on the board... in a meta where there are copious ways to remove the board... I'm finding it lackluster

You'd have to respect the amount of stats this card is presenting, at very least. Even if it summons nothing but four 1/1s its still going to be insane, simply because its likely played by an aggro deck that can rapidly wipe that smile off your face left alone.

If by some reason you're able to play the infused version by turn 6, then the game is over if your opponent isn't a control deck. Even more so if the imps summoned are anything more than the usual 1/1s.

I like this. I think Imp-Lock will be one of the strongest decks at the start of the expansion - and this could be very dangerous and has decent enough value. Sureley will only see play in Imp Decks but i guess that is the point if Imp-King :) 

I guess even the base version is alright, so of course the infused version is awesome.

Rafaam is one of my favorite characters lorewise. And I would love to make a Galakrond-Rafaam deck in wild because I think it can work, well I hope so

This is a textbook 3-star legendary. It lets you create a fun deck that is probably not very consistent because you have to draw your only copy of the legendary to make it work, and there's really no tutor for Rafaam.

Do resurrected minions keep buffs/deathrattles from phylactery?

This gives SO many stats, so thats pretty good. Also it was said by devs on twitter that Envoy Rustwix also counts as a imp, so thats some fun shenanigans in wild. I think this will see play in some zoolock decks. Oh and the buff also buffs imps on board, so it can be used like a Arbor Up.

I'm glad to see RAFAAAAAMMM back in standard, but i am a bit dissapointed about the fact he doesn't do fun stuff like Arch-Thief Rafaam and Arch-Villain Rafaam and its kinda sad to see the arch- part of his titles gone. I do get why he works with imps, just remember Rafaam's Scheme, but i would have loved something like "transform your imps into random legendary minions" or something fun like that. (So like The Storm Bringer on a body) But hey at least he is a very good reload for aggresive decks, so maybe he actually sees play for once!

I really have a soft spot for Rafaam - my rating is likely utterly biased - 5 stars ..!

The 666 and the imp flavor make me love this card. Finally, the neglected imps will rise!
