Well, this is going to get Nerfed almost immediately on launch. We have learned that DH doesn't need "free" spells especially ones that bump their attack or shoot troublesome minions out of the way. Yeah. there is the argument that the shuffling of a card in hand is bad, but DH draws better than Warlock... and with Trade still in Standard, there are a number of ways to overcome that part.
I'm predicting that they will nerf this to either be (1) or you HAVE to shuffle a card into your library.
Shuffling, even on the digital format, is something that card players love when they are dealing with the characteristics of this class. Being able to shift your library around to mix up the things you put on the bottom, Ambassador Faelin is a perfect example, is an amazing ability.
Seems alright. Going -1 for a decent attack buff might not be good enough in the long run though.
I mean, what even are the payoffs for this? I guess you can recycle with Fossil Fanatic or get more tempo on your Vanguard, but all things considered this isn't nearly comparable to pre-nerf Twin Slice.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
This seems crazy along with [Hearthstone Card (Bibliomyte) Not Found]. Outcast cards will be getting their bonus effect a lot closer to 100% of the time now. It feels like one of these cards should have been random to reduce the efficiency.
Its probably not going to be as good as it looks.
The fact is that you're trading one card away for 3 damage, when you could easily just play nagas and accomplish the same feat with Predation. The idea behind this card must surely be that you can play decks that dont have a high volume of nagas, but then again what will you be playing in place of it?
A staple in some kind of vomit dhunter that also plays Magnifying Glaive, because otherwise, I dont think its going to get anywhere. Dhunters may be able to draw well, but they cant give up tempo in the same way warlocks can.
+3 Attack for 0 mana is really powerful, but having to put a card back into you deck without replacing it hurts so much that I don't think this actually seems like that good of a card.
Nerf it to 'random card' going back into the deck.
Easy extra damage after you've already emptied your hand or are already wielding the Magnifying Glaive. Way too strong -- 5 stars.
Agreed! It makes me wonder why would they print more (0) mana stuff for a class notorious for its aggression
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
DH's Soulfire, I am curious if it's so good that it sneaks into other lists tho.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Very aggressive card, it sure looks really strong. Will definitely see play in all sorts of aggro decks.
This seems very good. Aggresive card that fits well into this handdump/mass draw aggro DH deck that gets pushed. Also in wild this might help DH do some interesting things. (Thinking about Gadgetzan Auctioneer stuff at least)
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Pretty crazy for 0 mana and strong synergy with Magnifying Glaive and Kryxis the Voracious
