Rush on a Cave Hydra, that is EXACTLY what it needed to be awesome. Granted, it's one more mana and taking up a valuable 4 slot. It still is pretty ridiculous with some of the Hunter buffs out right now
Probably not good enough, unless you can consistently infuse this, and you're playing a slower midrange deck.
In big beast hunter, its too much of a minnow, and in aggro/face hunter its simply redundant. Its only saving grace is that if you do manage to infuse it, then its good in midrange decks that focuses on boards. Outside of that, I dont expect this to see any play, barring some crazy card synergy later in the reveal list.
If Cave Hydra had Rush it wouuld have probably seen play. This is basically that with a minior condition but still a solid card even if played bare.
Also Hunter's location makes this much better overall (and also pairs nicely with Samuro for redundancy).
If the meta is very board-based I could see this being valuable. If not, then it's probably too situational.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Decent card - but i somehow dislike the art ... not sure why tough

Infused version looks like it could be pretty good, though I don't know how much it will kill on turn 4 with 3 attack. Base version is meh, but that's true with every upgradeable card.
Nice arena card, but won't see play in constructed. The Infuse (3) should* be easy enough to complete, but I doubt midrange hunter will be any good and there's tons of better 4 drops to include in your deck over this minion.
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Arena card i guess? I don't see hunters slotting this into their decks honestly.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
I really want this card to be decent, but it will be very meta-dependent. Azsharan Saber and Stormpike Battle Ram take the 4-slot, but maybe in a more aggressive hunter list?
Oh felt the same way - like the effect th

In a minion-heavy meta like we're about to see, a rush minion with cleave is definitely worth infusing. That's why Frenzied Fangs does not suck on turn 2 uninfused. This will prove to be a 4-star card. Remember that if you are in a match-up where the cleave doesn't matter, you don't have to infuse it. Flexibility is a great tool if you know how to use it.
It have very underwhelming stats for it's cost, the optimistic scenario is when you play it already infused and using the location to guarantee the multiple trade
A Cave Hydra was exciting... what, 4 years ago now? At least it encourages a swing back, but I'm doubtful there's a hunter deck that runs this.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Strong enough by itself, and it has the potential to become a powerful Hydra. Quite a nice card!
