Its just powercreep over 2 drops in terms of stats, because most of the time you'll be getting a vanilla stated minion plus a 1/1. If you're playing aggro then you probably just put these 2 cards in your deck and go from there.
There is a small chance of backfiring, but its still 2 tokens for 2 mana and I'd still rate it as good enough for most if not all aggro decks. Above that, however, you'd probably be better off playing a 2 drop you need rather than this.

Hate highrolling early game mminions so I hope this is just worthless trash and never appears in any of my games.
Are these types of cards ever good? It's a pretty wide pool, meaning more chances to low roll, unlike cards like Devouring Ectoplasm.
Easy four stars because it fits into every infuse archetype and is a pretty good card on its own.
I mean, given how little support they added for D/Evolve Shaman, I don't see why they would also have to go there ..
3 stars for the Evolve Shaman's turn 2 after playing Muck Pool Curve.
Nice minion for Evolve Shaman, and perhaps in Arena or so.
Hey it's Faceless Lackey but it costs 1 more mana, cant wait for more Doomsayers from it! At least evolve shaman has a way to quickly evolve the Doomsayer instantly with the locaton.
