If the Infusion only occurs while he is in your hand... it isn't as awesome. It is however still giving you up to 15/14 in stats for 7 mana and 5 of it is charging.
Seems pretty interesting, at least if it is properly infused.
He loves all his Gargons equally. (Hecutis is his favorite and it's not close.)
If you fully infused it then this card is insane on curve. Not necessarily impossible, but really hard even for token decks. Its weakness is definitely being topdecked, more so than other infuse cards, since its requirement (8) is massive
Probably an aggro card at best. That way, you'd really dont need to care about fully infusing this, so long as rng goes your way 2/3 times. The reason why Call of the Wild was good in face hunter back then was because hunters pressure face, so where else if not face hunter?
Boring, inconsistent and overall redundant I feel.
Maybe they bring out a token package that makes Rat Hunter a thing and then this is just a solid lategame bomb I guess, but other than that this just feels like they ran out of ideas and thought Call of the Wild was good enough back in the day so if we powercreep it with a caveat it might just be balanced.
Not so sure about this one. Seems kinda strong for 7 Mana if you could Infuse it fully .... if not this seems meh ... ok i guess but not that strong overall.
So, another Animal Companion/Demon Companion which might be To My Side! or Call of the Wild if you've infused this enough. Doubt a 4 mana 5/4 is good enough, so you'll want to upgrade at least once. What does the second infused version look like anyway? It only shows the first version.
I'm hoping that infusing minions will be easier than we think, coz I'm pretty sure we'd lose the game if we keep Huntsman Altimor in hand during the mulligan in the hopes of summoning all 3 companions.
This seems very good to me. Sure it takes a lot of infuses, BUT we have the RAT package (Rats of Extraordinary Size and The Rat King) which can cause a lot of infuses... Are the rats finally going to see play? I hope so.
Either way, Huntsman Altimor seems good to me, as long as you get the infuse 4. The unfuse 8 honestly is not something you should wait for, unless your at like 7 infuses or have a easy way to reach 8 infuses.
We already know how good a card like this can be, but it's going to take a minute to infuse it fully. As a rule, even slow Hunter decks don't like to wait, so I'm only giving it 4 stars.
This is one of those cards that, the more you think about it, Hunter plays a lot of things that makes multiple minions actually, especially in Big Beast.
The art and the concept are amazing! As for the card itself, it might be good, depending on how difficult it will be to Infuse it. Could work with the right support, though.
The best scenario is getting Altimor on the mulligan in order to have it fully infused to play it on curve. The 3 animal companions costs 9 mana. So for 1 less mana you are getting 3 companions and a 5/4 body. Very broken if fully infused imho
