  • Honestly, this card just eats up your corpses for an effect that most other classes do without conditions at 5 mana. The only thing commendable about this card is that it'll very likely clear board regardless of deathrattle etc. But at a price of a chunk of your corpses, about 3-5 on average I'd reckon.

You'll probably be forced to play it if youre going for blood. But its not amazing unless youre generating tons of corpses, which I doubt blood decks can do, or want to do, easily.

There might be an argument here that Spammy Arcanist is simply the better card. But if blood decks don't really use corpses anyway, then this card eating it all up might not even be contentious.

    • Assuming that you'd play it with minions on your side too, wouldn't you be able to refill your corpses as you go?

reread your comment and edited mine

  • As long as you have enough corpses, this will remove the entire board AND it counters deathrattles that summon minions. This seems really good, but it does need a lot of corpses. I feel like you might need to slot in a Unholy rune so you can get more corpse generating cards. But TBH i feel like Spammy Arcanist can do the same job most of the time.

I feel like Blood DKs that run a unholy rune might use this regardless, and Blood DKs that run a frost rune will run Spammy Arcanist instead.

  • Reminds me of Defile, except in reverse. My guess is it will be far easier to achieve large board clears, but that all depends on how many corpses you can bank.

    • This could make for a funny combo with Grim Patron to just have this trigger 30+ times as the bodies generated by him could create more explosions until you have a board full of them with random health

  • Probably rather strong in practice given that it needs two Blood runes. Ultimately it comes down to how easily DK can rack up corpses.

  • Honestly, Soulstealer is a better card but ofc there's a difference between 2x and 3x rune restrictions. This along with all other DK cards will see experimentation. Depending how many corpses a Blood DK can generate by turn 5, this spell should clear the board.

  • I think people are sleeping on this, this is turbo Defile, nuking boards completely no matter the deathrattles, with the caveat being your stockpiled corpses.

  • Awesome card, with great flavor and effect!
