    Hell. Yes. All of my Yes-es. My faith in the Blood Rune has been restored! None of that handbuffing crap: put your opponent on the clock and straight-up outlast them with your Taunts and your removal and your Lifesteal. This is the kind of character I've wanted to play for ages.

    Every control players dream card. This puts your opponent on a timer, and while their "clock" is running down you have to outlast them with lifesteal cards and removal. This is exactly how old-school control used to work: outlasting your opponent until they died to fatigue. But now instead of fatigue its at the end of your turns. Of course this requires running only blood runes, which is a big tradeoff. And this card can feel toxic at times. Additionally it's technically 7 mana do nothing, so you probably only play this when you can afford to play it. And it allows hyper aggro to probably rush you down if your unlucky with your card draw.

    But honestly, Alexandros Mograine is just a really unique wincondition and i love this card already. Cant wait to finally play a control deck that actually outlasts their opponent again. It's been sooo long.

    Edit: Brann Bronzebeard might be problematic with Alexandros Mograine.

    RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.

    This is going to be one hell of an oppressive card to the point where I'd make a bold predication saying Alexandros Mograine will make Denathrius too slow to play. You could even make any aggro blood DK and have this legendary to finish off your opponent... slowly. While it will probably see play in control decks, I'd say this legendary would be even better in anti control decks.

    Why? I'm assuming you're referring to The Demon Seed, which requires it to be during their turn. This is at the end of your own, so the damage should go through.

    Oh yes. Just another broken ass card for DK because of course it is.

    Basically this encourages you to play full control while having this as a win con. Resembling the old bomb control warrior where you run galakrond just to kick 3 damage to the face every turn. Unfortunately, full control often means attrition style gameplay that will take up over an hour in the mirror that conceding out of real life fatigue, or because you have to catch a bus, will likely be the win con here.

    So, is there any way to play around this? Yes. If you theotar this away, or eat it, the entire gameplan is off. Meaning, unless blood decks get a secondary win con its highly unlikely to ever be tier 1, or tier 2, unless Theotar, the Mad Duke is completely gone from the meta. I guess we know why team5 pre-emptively nerfed it now.

     

    But less facetiously, doing 3 damage to the face, even if unstoppable, will take at least 5-6 turns realistically to kill the opponent. So your opponent can try race you, and in all honesty it may not necessarily be impossible. Most games tend to take around 13 turns to complete, so even if this comes on curve you'll still need to play defence before your auto win is secured.

    If this works then 60-health Renathal Blood DK might be pretty insane. Basically you just jam it as soon as you can, and then continue to remove everything and use Patchwerk, Mutanus and Theotar to disrupt your opponent's wincon. Eventually they'll just die.

    I tried having fun once.

    It was awful.

    This should help put an end to those games that go on forever because neither of you can kill the other and then both of you are in fatigue. I can't wait.

    My favorite card in this set so far. I already looked forward to play a control style blood dk but now I`m pretty hyped.

    Brann and Zola will  be best buddies with Alexandros, so even if 3 damage a turn isn`t enough of a clock I guess 6 or even 9 a turn will "slowly" grind everyone down. However, I think he will fall pretty soon to the nerf-hammer. People like to cry out about stuff they perceive as inevitabile after all (no matter how strong it actually is).
